Our investigation zeroes in on six individuals, each with a story abruptly paused, leaving a void that begs to be filled.
Jonathan Williams, last seen in 1994, vanished without a trace, his black 1994 Ford Tempo now a ghost on the roads he once traveled.
Deus J. Hudson's green 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier has been missing since the haunting night of Halloween 2007, a night that remains frozen in time.
Donald Shaw, whose absence since 1978 in his 1973 Chevrolet Caprice speaks volumes of the decades of pain endured by his loved ones.
Robert Linman, lost to us since 1998, his tan and brown 1984 Ford F-150 a silent testament to the questions left unanswered.
Johnny Lee Thompson, whose black 2017 Ford F-150 vanished in 2019, represents the modern tragedies that continue to unfold. Lastly,
Jennifer Donais, who disappeared in 2004, her 1997 Pontiac Bonneville a lingering echo of her absence.
Our efforts today are a beacon of hope, illuminating the depths in search of these missing souls. The waters we navigate are not just physical barriers but gateways to understanding, to uncovering the truth that lies submerged and forgotten. The hubcap is very similar to what you would have seen on vintage Cadillac Deville models during the late 1950s and into the 1960s.
I was even going to say 1940s Cadillac. I've seen that hubcap before and I just can't place it. However, my 1st gut feeling as a Cadillac. It is vintage regardless, IMO. I'm 72 so I know vintage. 😆

It's obvious when cars hit water, people are unable to escape. Isn't there enough interest and momentum to make car makers address this threat in automotive design? Idk protected electrical system, hydrostatic balloon devices, epirb emergency beacons. There has to be ways to protect against this terrifying scenario and they'd have to if consumers started to demand it. When these stories first became big I figured all this would happen quickly but they won't do it voluntarily. Only consumer pressure will push this. Have people discussed this before in this community? I'm sure people here could have insightful ideas for solutions and a hard hitting name for the bill of legislation that makes it all go. There has to be things we can do. We've all imagined ourselves there

Could be a mid to late 70's Ford Thunderbird, Mercury Grand Marchise(not spelled right) or Mercury Cougar.

Yes but they also ran a similar style cap on Chevy Caprices,which is a vehicle they are looking for!
Late 70s Ford granada to be exact they had 14 inch wheels

Yeah that’s doesn’t work for things that are not easy. Things i lookup are not mainstream common knowledge. Kinda obscure things and all 4-5 of the image reverse things never get it. Just totally wrong direction things

You might want to check for randy leach there 36 years missing we have to find him for his mother
AWP used the magnetometer in that area back in Oct 2022 with no success. I believe it was agreed upon with his mom that until new evidence presents itself, there is no where left to search.

What system is in place to keep track of all these vehicles that are found? Seems like an interactive map available to the public could be useful so divers looking for people don't dive on the same vehicles over and over. Or else can find a missing vehicle from outside an area.

I am a Kansas City Kansas native. Missouri vehicles have a license plate on the front and on the back. A Kansas registered vehicle only has a back plate.

The hubcap is for a Mercury Grand Marquis from between 1978 through around 1985.
The hubcap looks to me like the 1973 Chevy Caprice which Donald Shaw was driving… ?when I looked up caprice hubcabs online they looked the most like it to me ….

I grew up in Kansas and wouldn’t be one bit surprised if there weren’t hundreds of people who have been murdered and dumped in the Kansas or Missouri river.

My heart just breaks for the victims the families…sending prayers and condolences to the victims families and team members of the rescue service for their remarkable recovery and efforts in the aftermath of these horrific tragedy.

A thought, can you guys/do you record the sonar results and could AI (computer vision) be trained to pick out all potential vehicles from that? Not as good for TH-cam but would save you time and potentially danger. Worth a thought I reckon. But I don't know too much about ur tech

I have my grandpa’s hub cap that looks very similar to the one you have. Gpa’s was off a 70s ford mustang.

When I was a kid a lady came up and asked to borrow the phone back when it was land l8nes. Then she proceded to say if I get in that car call 911. She was dumb she got in the car... I was a little little kid my attention span was small. I didnt call. I wonder if that lady is still alive. PS one of the guys she got in the car with is now a police officer.........

I think those hubcaps are from a late 60s or early 70s bonneville! I have seen them before though🤔 its a huge pretty red car with lots of chrome!

I don’t know much about cars or hub caps. The one grabbed looks like one from an Oldsmobile, one of the only hub caps I have seen and remember (hopefully correctly).
From my experience fishing in rivers and seeing people lose autos in rivers. Rivers have a tendency to bury/sink auto's. They just sink down and disappear. The current washes the dirt out from under them, too.

About that hubcap. Take a look at Vintage Chrysler Dodge hubcaps. I found some online that match the one Dan found.

Have you changed anything I have not seen a car or anything yet I have seen all the other vehicles that you have seen in the water before, but those are not clear at all to see today
Longer the vehicle sits the more sediment and silt settles, making it easier to distinguish.

That hub cap looks like a late 70s or early 80s Ford or Buick to me. Not many vehicles came with a red cap roulette wheel style hub cap, but I know Buick and Ford both had similar ones.
