With all the respect to team LMAB Grundéns and team Shimano but it is sad to see that team Nays Stroft was not able to fish their spots. Strong fishing from team Abu Garcia Berkley 💪🏽
Then Nays simply should come up with a different tactic. That’s competition. You can’t just rely on the same spots for three years!
@@LucdeGroot1999 Maybe not, but the biggest fish are there as you can see. But yes, perhaps new strategy for next season if it turns out more teams are going there.
I had a spot I use to go to where I was alone. had the best fishing of my life there until a few years later when other people found it. Now it's more or less ruined spot sadly.
Sucks but it is what it is. I still have hope for Nays to get some nice zanders in next episodes.

@@hissatsu4937 yea it’s sad to see that many spots don’t stay good for long. But it’s part of the game these days and I think it adds to the fun when you find a new good spot!

Thanks for the great entertainment Kanalgratis ✌️. But I'm really disappointed from Team LMAB and Shimano. They participate in Zanderpro for the first time and have nothing better to do than to copy the spots from team nays

In my opinion it’s extremely striking that LMAB anglers are fishing across the youtube tournaments on spots previously seen by other anglers. It doesn't matter whether Andriani fishes Patrick Marrable's canal at the YPC, Di Ventura appears at the catchy spot of Big L or here at Zander Pro the same riverspots are fished that Nays has shaved the last two years. Experienced anglers like Freddy and Christoph prove to me that there is another way. For me, there is a clear quality difference in angling expertise. Di Ventura's run-of-the-mill chatter about his lures, which has been heard a thousand times before, is just annoying.

So I am watching these guys cast and retrieve with an occasional jerk of the bait. I am primarily a bass fisherman, but, also fish brackish water and salt water. Using soft baits like they are, have they ever considered "Mid-Strollimg"?. A Japanese method of fishing that pretty much works on any fish I have tried it on except catfish which prefer live bait. I catch walleye and Sauger Mid-Strollimg, I'd be stunned if it didn't work on Zander as well.

If you saw my Google Maps of this river you wouldnt quack this way. I wasnt born yesterday and have been fishing this river since I was young. You don’t know how much time ive spend alone at the water. Hours, days, nights after work. Not to find “Dustin’s” spots but to find our own. This stretch was just the best those weeks. Please don’t jump too fast to conclusions and show a little respect from behind your screen.

In all our tournaments over the years, Teams have followed each other. Not only because they can, but because they should. Close contact between the teams is entertaining and a lot can be learned from observing how they approach the same body of water. Disturbing, provoking and annoying, taping in on the competitors nerve. In combination with a great display of patience and skills this is part of excellent sportsmanship as all our participating teams currently display.

Abu Garcia is the only team who can challenge Dustin and Toby, but during shore day Nays Stroft and LMAB will strike back.

Its when zanders are making baby zanders, the males turn dark or blue, you can check it on the internet.. hope this helps man..
@codm_peet I have seen completely black Zander during their mating season but never this blue color. Definitely interesting

Du kannst auf der ganzen Welt angeln und dann fischt du genau an dem Spot von Nays. Das sind schon echte Profis....die sich nicht mal eingene Stellen erarbeiten können. #peinlich
Sorry, das ist Unsinn! Zum einen gibt es keine privaten spots, schon gar nicht im und um das Rheindelta. Zum anderen brauchst du nicht glauben, dass Toby und Dustin all die Stellen, die sie beangeln, selber gefunden haben...
@@Barfight2k Genau an dem Spot hat Nays die letzen zwei Jahre auch bei der Zanderpro gefischt. Mir wäre es zu blöd mich daneben zu stellen und alles nach zu machen
The dark/blue colors of the zanders did me google when Zander Pro 2023 was held: "This tournament be held on March 24-26, 2023". It's a pity as a lot of Zanders protect their nests in The Netherlands at that time. And using advanced sonars you can easily spot them. Throwing a lure nearby and they will attack to defend, not to feed. It's for the most views on youtube! And yes it's legal, up to March 31, but doesn't help keeping lots of zanders long term.

This tournament is NOT recorded in spring as you suggested, your perhaps mixing this up with the Zander Pro OPEN qualification witch is something else.
The Open Q dates are given by the sportfishing organization in NL on dates we’re the water is considered open and possibly less of a problem
to the reproductive cycles. The next Open Q will not be held in spring.
We follow local rules and guidelines set by the country’s were operating in. We don’t have a particular opinion on whether that’s good or bad. We leave that up to to the experts and regulators of the country or region in question.
If the fishing were restricted, Zander Pro would be held somewhere else. It’s not a problem for us.
If it’s was only about the views, we would bring cats and laser pointers to play with at night. Thanks for watching and commenting, we really appreciate all feedback and safeguarding good fishing grounds.
