I am 75 and my husband is 81. We live in Georgia. We enjoy your channel. Your recipes are so good and doable! We love "The Bunkys" as we call you! We have tried and enjoyed several of your recipes! You two are so cute together! Thanks for all you do!
Don't worry about saying favorite.... You are positive and enthusiastic about things. That is a wonderful quality to have ! Don't feel like you have to be anything besides authentic Bunkey and Bunkey❤❤😊😊
I only cook ribs in my crockpot. I get them fully cooked and then cover them in sauce and set them on the grill for a couple minutes to caramelize them.
My favorite part is when she says this is my favorite. It really sells me on the recipe. I love this channel because I love her enthusiasm for cooking!
I make chicken piccata, but I leave out the cream and pasta. It’s very good with the cream, but it’s also very good with just the chicken stock, lemon sauce. Drizzle that over, have a side veggie and a side salad. Yummy!
All these recipes look great! Cannot wait to try them. Have you ever tried ribs in the Instapot? So yummy! It takes a while to come to pressure with all the apple juice but it’s still much faster than a slow cooker. My SIL and I did a cook off on vacation. She made crock pot ribs and I did IP ribs. The husbands voted the IP the best. Fall off the bone deliciousness! 😋
Girl there is no shame in having multiple favorite's with your recipes. especially when you are a foodie. The one with the chicken and potatoes I'm definitely gonna be trying.
My favorite color is the green. Keto twins introduced them on their channel. Game changer. The are non toxic and chemical free. Health conscious as we all are!! Jess, when is the Bunkey Cookbook coming out.?🤗
I personally love it when you say it’s your favorite cause it just shows your excitement and love of good and yummy food just like myself. You can can have a thousand favorites and still find more to add to it! Plus, your new favorites add to my new favorites! So, thank you kindly! 😊❤
I love it when you try new recipes Jessica! 😍 Your excitement about new recipes is so contagious!😋 I remember a time when you weren't as confident to try a new style of cooking, try new cooking vessels or unfamiliar ingredients. But that was the old Jess! 😚 I see even more changes with the new cookware! But not just that but you also used the air fryer and crockpot! 😘 You've learned to utilize so many modern cooking vessels and you're becoming a master at them! 👍 A few years ago I purchased an electric pressure cooker (basically the same thing as the Instant Pot). I was scared to death to use it! I had never used a pressure cooker! However, my sister had been using the old fashioned pressure cooker her whole married life! And it was the kind that sat on the stove and had a chance to exploding! 🤯 So I took my new electric pressure cooker to my sister's house and we tried some recipes. She fell in love with it on the spot! 🤗 During our cooking session I also fell in love with it! These things are designed to cook like the original pressure cookers, providing wonderful flavor and tenderness, but they don't explode like the old version! The lid locks in place and won't even build up pressure unless it's put on correctly! I had the same fears as you! And I wouldn't use mine until I consulted with my sister because she was a pro at cooking with a pressure cooker! The way I've seen you learn and grow as a cook, I know you can get this! Basic rules: Read the instructions! The pressure cooker needs one cup of liquid in order to pressurize! The lid can only be locked in place one way! If it doesn't lock, it won't pressurize! The beauty of a pressure cooker is you can brown meat in it then add other ingredients, lock on the lid and cook a meal in a fraction of the time! I once pulled a whole chicken out of the freezer and put it directly into the pressure cooker! No defrosting was required! You can put any frozen meat in it! You can also cook nice cuts of meat in it to get tender. Start off browning it then add liquid then pressurize it! I've made pot roast in mine and it comes out amazing! You can cook the roast and get it so tender then release the pressure, add potatoes and carrots then pressure the raw vegetables in 9 minutes! And it will taste like roast, potatoes and carrots individually! It's not like a crockpot where all the flavors are mixed together. You can taste every ingredient! And it makes quick work of every meal! Personally I don't think these new devices can explode! There are many safety features! There's only one way to put the lid on and lock it in place! They're very intimidating at first and I was scared of it at first. But once I started using it, I couldn't stop! And I think that's how you're going to be! Remember, Mandy was the same way when she got hers. But now she uses it like a pro! I really think you're going to love using your pressure cooker and you'll probably kick yourself for waiting so long to try it! 😉 I've been watching you cook for years now and I've seen what you can accomplish! You hardly ever baked when I started watching you and look at you now! There's nothing you can't do! If you're still uneasy about using the pressure cooker, get together with a friend who has mastered it! The confidence they relay will be absorbed by you and you'll be on your way to pressure cooking like the best of them! Look how you've mastered the air fryer and crockpot! You can do this! And you're going to love it! 🤩 The first time you cook meat in it, you're going to fall off your chair! And you can stand the ribs on their side in the pressure cooker and they'll fall off the bones before they're through cooking! 😋 Are you convinced? I am! I have no doubt that you can do this! 😁 Believe me when I say that you'll be frantically looking for new recipes once you've cooked something in your pressure cooker! ☺️ And just think about how many pressure cooker recipes you can add to your cookbook! 😚 I could tell you more stories about my experience with my pressure cooker but this is probably enough for now. Just remember I have more! 😉 I love the 3 new recipes! And I love how you used so many types of cooking methods to make them! Thanks for sharing another great video! 🥰
I think you might have convinced me lol! Thank you for sharing this sweet story with me! I may have given my pressure cooker to my mom because I figured I would never use it haha! I'm going to have to ask her for it back! And you are right, I would probably kick myself for not using it sooner! Thank you for always being here, for always encouraging me, and for always being such a light! You are amazing and we are so grateful for you!!
I do squirt the mustard on and then rub the smoked paprika. Cook in the instant pot with apple juice and a little water. Then broil with bbq sauce in the oven when done.
The amount of joy I get from watching your videos is almost concerning 😂 this was a great video this week! I found y’all on here when planning thanksgiving just this past year, and by now I have made quite a few of your recipes! My family always loves them❤️ I watch your videos every week before doing my weekly meal planning! I’ll be trying all the recipes from this week 😁 I grew up with a single mother who didn’t really know how to cook so we ate a lot of hamburger helper, shake and bake, and takeout! 😂 I only started being brave enough to start learning to cook about six years ago and your videos are always so down to earth and easy to follow! Simple but so yummy! As a mom of 3 I need that 😂 love you guys!
Wow, you just totally made my heart smile so big!! Thank you! I love that you have made some of our recipes and loved them! I love to cook, but I also want a recipe that is pretty easy to throw together but taste amazing! Those are always the recipes I am searching for!
I make baby back ribs ALLL the time in the crock pot!! Salt, pepper, garlic powder on DRY ribs. DO NOT ADD LIQUID. 8 hours on low. Slather with bbq sauce and broil 4-5 minutes. HEAVEN!!
Just a tip.....when you make ribs in the crock pot you can stand them up so the tops are touching.....kinda like a tent shape then you don't have to move them around.
Awww, it always makes me so happy when you say a recipe is your new favorite, or in your top 5...that just means it is super delicious. Also, it is perfectly fine to have 42 favorite top 5 recipes! Your top five depends on the moment...and the season, or the day of the week, your mood, what you're wearing, and/or if you're having a good or bad hair day. So you go ahead and keep being you and saying a recipe is your new favorite! Seriously!
A always serve my piccata with roasted potatoes and veggies. It really is a wonderful chicken dish one of our families favorite. And crockpot ribs are the best
When breading chicken, dip it in your seasoned flour then lay it on a plate until it starts to look wet and then dip them again and then fry. Turns out AMAZING!
I have made ribs in the crockpot twice now. So easy and good. I use a rub that I put together and let it sit in the fridge for 24 hours before I cook them. Even better. Also, I love turkey picatta. Pampered Chet has a great recipe using turkey cutlets. So good. A go to for sure!
I get so excited when you two put out a new video! 😂 All 3 look delicious, and I can’t wait to try them. I’ve been doing ribs in my crockpot for a long time, but I’m going to try your seasoning method next time!
For the chicken piccata, I think you actually DON'T want a nonstick pan ... you need the fond (with the flour) to form on the bottom of the pan to incorporate the flour and savory caramelized chicken flavor into the sauce which will thicken it. (Not hating on your new pans - I think I am actually going to order some in the pink color! Its just that you do need the right pan for specific recipes)
I’ve made ribs in crock pot many times. I use the boneless country style and sweet baby rays sauce. Always tender and falling apart. I will try that recipe!
google info: "Capers come from a prickly bush called capparis spinosa that grows wild across the Mediterranean and parts of Asia. The capers we see in the grocery store are the un-ripened green flower buds of the plant. Once they're picked, the immature buds are dried and then preserved."
Just thought I'd let you know, I have made the eggs in the biscuits in my muffin tin and my husband loves them!!!!! We have them all the time now. They are so easy and takes no time at all to cook. Have a great week!!!!

Putting the ribs under the broiler first then slow cook in the crockpot might be even better, but the ribs look so good. I feel you, when you love food and it’s so good, all you can say is this is my favorite 😂 I love food and I love to eat and try new recipes. Thanks for sharing!
I have baked my ribs for years in the oven. They are always so tender and tasty. Jessica need would love your Playlist, I love jazz and so enjoy the music.
I have seen folks stand the ribs up around the edge of the crockpot and cook them that way. They didn’t cut the ribs in half but wrapped them around the sides. Hopefully I’m making sense. ❤️🤓
When we BBQ large quantity of meat, like multiple racks of ribs or brisket, to save charcoal and wood fuel, one the bark is the color we want is when the ribs get wrapped or the brisket and then I put them in my big turkey roaster to bring them to temp. It’s the same concept as wrapping and keeping on the smoker but you aren’t burning your fuel. I set the roaster at the same 225 or so I had been smoking at and let them finish in the roaster. Same concept as the crock pot. You could get your smoke, bark and flavor, pull them, wrap them and let them finish in your slow cooker.
I've been watching all your older videos and making em all week!! Spinach Artichoke dip tonight, crunchy taco wraps tomorrow and the chix with pepperoni and noodle soup Wed!!🩷🩷 love love love ya'll!!
I have a longterm nerve injury in my spine that keeps me from being able to reach things in lower kitchen cabinets. I have to keep basic pans on the stove. A friend arranged them for me. A system like that of Caraway might be easier. I am certainly looking into it. And definitely trying this recipe. I LOVE 💕 CAPERS!!!
We make our ribs (baby back is preferred) in the crock pot all the time - I season them up on both sides with Brown Sugar, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Salt, Pepper, Dried Mustard, Smoked Paprika. We massage that seasoning in all over those ribs, we then cut them into two rib pieces, place all around the crock-pot and add a wee bit of apple juice or even water if that's all you've got and then we cook them on low for 6 - 8 hrs, rotating them about every 2 hrs and then add our favorite bbq sauce the last hour or so, they are so good.... :)
I’m going to try all these…. My husband loves ribs so this will be first on my list! Not sure big I am ready for Mr. B to say they were that good…we all know he is the best at rib grilling !😄
I looooove chicken piccata! I chop up green olives to use in place of capers because we don't really like capers. I've never used heavy whipping cream in it. I serve mine over angel pasta.
I usually cut my chicken with a knife, while it's still partially frozen. Makes it so much easier. I have done the hacking it up with scissors too! I love your channel so much!
Oh yes we are making us some Crock pot ribs very soon. They looked incredible. Y'all truly make me love these ribs solely on y'all's reactions! No lie my mouth is wanting to eat them ribs up!
I made a big mistake watching this at 9:51 PM 🤤. It’s too late to eat but, I am feeling real (mouth) hunger.

chicken piccata. One of my favorites! Looks so good and easy. Thank you for sharing.

A system like that of Caraway might be easier. I am certainly looking into it. And definitely trying this recipe. I LOVE 💕 CAPERS!!!
I was in the market for new pans so I just ordered this. Thanks for the discount code. I ordered the sage also. It looked very pretty.
The ribs WERE moist🥰 Thank You Bunkies. Just added a new recipe to my limited dinner go to's.
I always make my ribs in the crockpot . They are always to tender and yummy
Trying the chicken and potatoes today since the beef and broccoli crockpot was a big hit
If I remember correctly, a caper is a bud of what would have been a flower. You catch them just before they bloom
I’m going to try all these…. My husband loves ribs so this will be first on my list! Not sure big I am ready for Mr. B to say they were that good…we all know he is the best at rib grilling !😄
All look delicious. Must try. Blessings
I looooove chicken piccata! I chop up green olives to use in place of capers because we don't really like capers. I've never used heavy whipping cream in it. I serve mine over angel pasta.
You are right! All 3 look wonderful. I will be doing theses this week! Thanks!
I usually cut my chicken with a knife, while it's still partially frozen. Makes it so much easier. I have done the hacking it up with scissors too! I love your channel so much!
Aww thank you!! Thats a great tip! I will try it!!
I made that chicken piccata tonight!! So so good!!!!! I’m making the Mississippi chicken tomorrow!
