I am an original owner of a 1991 300 ZX coupe. Over the years I had put in about 280,000 miles of pure enjoyment on my Z. My interiors are still like new. I plan to restore the car back to the new condition mechanically and complete new paint job (to its original color: Diamond Pearl Black). Over the years, practically every month or even every week, I have people knocking on my doors asking to buy my Z. Some people even beg me to sell it. The best way to tell the difference between the coupe and the 2+2 (for someone who is not familiar with this Z) is to look at the gas door (where you pump gas). On the coupe, it is right next to the driver door, just right below the small rear window. For the 2+2, the gas refilling door is further back above & behind the rear wheel. If you are familiar with this Z, you can easily tell right away, because the 2+2 is much longer in length. I don’t drive it as much as before. My daily driver is a Lexus LS model and other cars.
..I was going to say the same thing about the gas door! Last summer, my son found a 93' NA & 87' NA, both white...87 has a 5 spd the 93' is auto! They both run, neither has been hit, both have the original paint & interiors... So we started disassembly of the 93' first and going to restore both to 'like new condition' with new paint and lots of restored and new parts. Both are restoration project cars for something to do in my retirement
…180k here on one of my three TT, oem cool pack no issue, coil pack on these cars rarely goes out. Apart from that everything else on the video seems fine.

You’re absolutely correct I did forget the mention the gas door filler location, it totally slipped my mind.

Love seeing Z32 content but there’s a lot of misinformation in here. Bottom line: 2by2s ARE ugly 😆
