Why are all coffee hipsters obsessed with light roasted coffees and the horrible acidity they pull out. I roast my own beans and find the lighter I roast the less I like the coffee.
Everything is subjective! Sounds like you've found your personal preference which is great. Light coffees are certainly more challenging to roast and the quality of the coffee is key
@@bridgecoffeeroasters I agree on everything being subjective which is why I am suspicious of ALL the hipster coffee snobs agreeing on one thing, it smacks of "The Emperors new clothes" with you all afraid to admit you actually like something different than the "current thing".
It is better suited for drip coffee. It's easy to use and to buy. EK43 has higher extraction, and is better for Espresso coffees the 54-gearing is made of mostly plastic parts and has lower extraction compared to the EK tha 54 is not made to last? hugs wheelchair larry
