Thanks for watching! Yea they look a little suspect, I mainly used them to keep it in place until I bolted the motor to the jack plate. They have not budged so o figured it wouldn’t hurt to leave em on.
It’s a Solas prop, I got it from my Yamaha dealer but am pretty sure you can get them online. It’s a 4 blade it really doesn’t have the pitch on the prop all it says is YB 45 12. Hope that helps.
Thanks for watching! I think it would have picked up some speed if I kept the original prop on it. The four blade props are usually a bit slower but get you up on plane quicker and can get it up out of the water more to allow for running in more shallow water which is what I wanted. Lots of rocks where I fish. I may have lost a few MPH with the four blade.
I was saying that prop looks different lol, its gonna skim!
I really like it and it does help out a lot in the skinny water. Thanks for watching!
I'm skeptical of the spacers. Do you like them?

I have the same motor and I use it on a really rocky river. What size prop is that and where did you get it?

Thank you!
Is that jackplate the large or the standard?
Hey thanks for watching! It is the standard version.
Did you pick up any speed?
