I really wish SNK deals with Metal Slug XX being bound to 30fps. It looks so janky compared to the other games like this one, and has a terrible input lag even on PC.

メタスラ史上ワーストと悪名高い4だけど、こうして見ると新しいアイデアを取り込もうという意気込みが感じられて好感持てる
1面別ルートのバイクチェイスとか、丸太で雪山をソリよろしく駆け下ったりとか、3までにはなくて新鮮
個人的には過去作との差別化がカケラも感じられなかった7よりずっと好感持てますね
SNK倒産後のゴタゴタさえなければより作り込めて、佳作ぐらいにはなれたと思う。惜しい
初めてやろうかなって思ったのがこの4だったから個人的には高評価、ひとがオランウータンになっちゃう所とか子供の頃の自分にとって未知の世界だったから惹かれてしまった
海外では3よりも4を評価してる人がいるくらい海外ではそこまで不評ではなかったりもする
ぶっちゃけ6からは背景がCGだから4のがいい 背景コピペや意図的に感じる日本人キャラの脇役化とか悪い面もあるが、高速道路を疾走したり丸太で敵を倒すなど良い面も多い

あと新兵器のトゥーマシンガンを加えたのが良い。
４は家庭版だったらコンバットスクールやミニゲーム盛り込んでおけば最低評価されなかったろうになあ…。
@@no_name923 確かに4の家庭版やアーケードアーカイブズで無印～3の家庭版のようにコンバットスクールとか3であった「モーデン救出ゲーム」のようなミニゲームや3と6にあったモーデン軍やマーズピープルとの共闘があったらもう少しだけ面白いと感じたかも。
4は敵施設破壊の楽しみや破壊行為のおもしろみはあるけどターマとエリが使えなくなったのと敵の配置と敵の攻撃がかわしにくくてほぼ回避不能の嫌らしい攻撃をするのがねぇ・・・。
5も同罪。４の失敗からなにも学んでない。

後はグラフィックの使い回し、ターマとエリが使えない、敵勢力がいつものモーデン軍じゃない等々、オールドファンを気持ちを逆撫でする部分しか無いわ。
そりゃ開発に韓国が携わったせいですよ
ただトゥーマシンガンは良いと思いましたww

ナディアとトレバーはこの4だけしか登場しないのは惜しい！！
