That staircase was worth the trip. So magnificent. And the tower room would be perfect for a painter. What a place that was back in the day. Thank you for taking us along.
The long heavy item you found in the attic that you said looked like a textile machine for fabrics is actually a knitting machine. I have one. It is for knitting sweaters that will look like they are hand knitted; then you can sell them as hand knitted because they look like they are, although they are not.
You two guys do the best videos! You are honest explorers and what I like most about you is that when you explore a very large place, what you show us of the interior matches with the outside. You always show us the areas that are too unsafe to enter. I agree with you that it is one of the most beautiful grand staircases you have ever shown. I liked the way the stained glass went up the wall to meet the skylight. It is common to use buckets to catch water from roof leaks when you do not have the money to repair the roof. I think these people lost their fortune when unskilled field labor was elevated in pay to that of trained office workers, etc. Also, in regard to the large antique pieces of furniture: it is much harder than you might think to sell such huge pieces nowadays. What I did with several pieces I inherited that did not fit into my modern home was I donated them to local thrift stores.
I think in the boxes was the inside of a knitting machine where you push it back and fourth and it then knits you a jumper😊 nice to view your channel I really wish the things in the palace that could be saved we're saved if you tell the right people before it falls into complete disrepair and lost forever seems such a waste and is so sad 😢
Great explore!! Beautiful architecture.. thank you for all the hard work putting this video together so we can all feel like we are there with you! Enjoyed it so much, Maureno and Remon.. thanks for the excellent intros and outros.. bravo🎉❤😍🇺🇸🤠🥰
Absolutely Amazing…definitely one for the books guys‼️That tower room especially was the icing on the cake for me, the reading room of my dreams❣️ Pease and love to you both✌️😘
All of the things you have done over the years and then big floor chest in the Attic you think you would learn to pick the blankets up and look under them by now is ought to be rooting experts but who would have thunk it
Thank you so much, Marcelina! We're thrilled to have you join us from the Philippines 🇵🇭. Hope you enjoyed the video, and feel free to explore more with us in the future! 🏰✨
The thing you were squeezing in the attic was a breast pump from a long time ago.,for new moms. The sky lights are beautiful. What a place, the architecture is really nice.❤❤️👍🇺🇸
Wow! What an incredible place to explore, love the architecture of this place, I love the tall ceiling, back in the day this people are very rich indeed, I truly love everything about the architecture of this place, thank you for sharing .
If someone owns that building, they should have to keep up maintenance. It should be a law. All that beautiful old furniture and ornate carvings should not go to waste. What a shame.
The little box that you thought had toys in it was actually a tackle box - used to hold fishing gear. You picked up bobbers, which let's you know when you've caught a fish.
Thank you so much for sharing this incredible explore, my jaw is still hanging open! Out of all your explores, this place has my heart. I would love to live here! I always felt that France was calling my name, but Portugal urbex's are amazing! Well done boys!
Oh my goodness! This is such a beautiful place wasting away and leaving the natural elements to decay and destruction. And those beautiful antique furnishings, OMG! Whenever I see a video like this, I hope that someone with the means and desire will obtain it and restore it to its original glory and beauty. Great Video
I imagine this was very beautiful when people lived there, but now it's getting pretty bad off with no one taking care of it. It's still could be saved with a little cleaning and repairing the small things wrong. Would be neat if it was back to the amazing it used to be.
What a Majestic place & view . Maureno and Remon this would take 6 of you on shoulders to reach the roof .Amazing sights and wow it is so beautiful to be inside lucky men lucky men. That small room with a bed on the wall there that is a baby change place privacy for mom and new bundle.I really hope all that wood could be saved?Love ya guys HAPPY HOLIDAYS my family to yours.Peace out Barbara NWP, FL
...Now to do a toast to all of the extra extraordinary places Maureno and Remon have successfully tracked❤ Loving all your explores like fine wine these places have precious touches of historical pieces that are also involved in the pursuits of traveling finding things people used to use and what they did👍🏠💖🕸🥂🍻🍤🥘🧀🥖💼👜👛👑🎩🎓🧳🥾👔🧐😱😁
Hey Maureno and Remon from fabulous urbex team Explomo! So great to watch this highly interesting explore in that once very grand Portuguese mansion. At the beginning you really seemed to have quite a challenge for climbing up that wall before you could actually reach the grounds of that magnificient location. Once more I very much enjoyed your beautifully formulated introduction in perfect English. Respect bro! Wonderful building with remarkably beautiful architecture! - I tried to imagine how the life must have been in that grand mansion. I admired the huge rooms with these incredibly high ceilings. Two of them still had wonderful ornate lamps hanging from the ceiling. And - right, in that empty living room I also was surprised to see that grand and still beautiful chandelier. It was on the other hand so sad to see so many obvious traces of decay everywhere and black mould on the ceilings. Some rooms still had very ornate furniture with the typical carvings in the style of the late 19th century, the so called "historism" style. - Absolutely breathtaking was the huge entrance hall with the grand stair case and these unbelievably wonderful stained glass windows like the special one at the ceiling top of the staircase hall! I can only say wow! - Also the attic with these different huge wooden chests was holding a lot of antic surprises. So great to see! - And - of course I loved the "finale" in the tower room, reminding me of a legit salon. That room was certainly also furnished once back in the days. Wonderful explore, which I very much enjoyed watching! Looking forward to your next explore adventure, dear bro! Wishing you all the best, stay safe, peace in this advent season, and kindest regards from rainy Switzerland.
I wonder why someone is not trying to save the beautiful old Palace? It should be saved or at least salvaged. It is such a shame to let it fall into such a state of disrepair.
Woow what loveble flauwors just this,,i love very much this 🌹🍃🍃🌹🍃🌹🍃💓💓🍃🌹🍃〰️❤🏛🏚🌳🍃🍃🌲. And this history story and familie and memoria,,everythings. Thank you guys this you great video. Byee👋〰️〰️🍮
Moreno you could have hidden in there. In some places your shirt matched the paint peel. My favorite rooms in any house are the kitchens and this one didn't disappoint at all it's very nice. The main entryway has some beautiful interior design. At 40:30, that horn is a breast pump for collecting the baby's dinner. 47:35 looks like a knitting machine but they could be some type of loom. Wonderful find and the attic and tower were a real bonus.
The ‘horn’ is a breast pump which is placed over the mother’s nipple and the milk for the baby was sucked out and collected in the bottom of the glass bowl. Guys would have had no idea what it was lol 😂
Hi guys I really like your videos and sometimes I get a real laugh when you are trying to guess what things are used for. At the time stamp 40:35 Danny is playing with what he called a horn, it was glass with red bulb. I believe that was actually a breast pump for nursing mom.
really really impressive especially the 1st box on the side table and last the unbelievable huge boxes with really interesting books and documents. but 1 thing why they left like sudden they leave like this and never came back what was the condition and what was the reason. still curious to know about all these.. really really need to save this beautiful palace with each and every thing in it . big shame 💔
Hola maureno y remon, definitivamente increíble palacio.

Very interesting and unique!!TY
