It’s just as some fans guessed: Future Hikari is still around because her wish hasn’t been granted yet because whatever Sbylit has planned will put Akina’s life in danger. That’s making me all the more nervous for what comes after this episode. Taizo is such a bro for sheltering Future Hikari again. You could tell that despite the circumstances, he’s relived to see her alive. I guess it’s true what they say about how no one knows you better than yourself. Future Hikari certainly proves that by confronting Hikari over her fears over Akina blaming her for the accident, even knowing he’d never do that, calling out the holes in her plan, and even taunting her over a few things she’d rather stay secret. It really shows how she’s the best person to stop her, especially with the reveal that changing the past won’t change her future. Even if she gets her wish, Hikari would suffer the same fate as her future counterpart, only she’d be leaving behind her still living brother, as well as Mikoto and the rest. I truly hope that all three Myodo’s can catch a break when all is said and done cause they really deserve it. Something just occurred to me that since Future Hikari is fighting as part of the Fated Ones, I wonder if that mean’s she’d get a wish at the end if she wins. If so, she could wish to go back to her timeline or maybe even stay in the current one. I guess we’ll find out soon. I know I’ve said this before, but the writers must be HUGE Fate fans to include so many references in DivineZ. Hikari’s future self coming to stop her past self only further solidifies that, like with Archer and Shirou, only this time, the future self is the good guy here. Next time, the Destined Showdown comes to a close. Which Hikari will come out on top? And keep in mind: people die when they’re killed.😂
And it actually put it even more into perspective of how hikari feeling and it not that her wish is both a selfless and selfish wish But that it isn’t wrong and future hikari even. Acknowledge that and accept that But still calls her selfish because instead of talking and facing Akina she running away from him and relying on what’s basically a gamble Kinda similar to how liael odium deck needs to have at least 2 distorted bane in hand before divine skill which is a big weakness. I actually never even thought about that. And rezeal powers could heal her!
Future Hikari really hit the nail on the head here. In any relationship, communication is key. Bottling up your problems and keeping secrets will just make things worse. I'm on the side of Akina here, a minority from what I've seen among the comments. I don't find anything particularly wrong in being selfless and sacrificing yourself for others, especially if it's for the people you love. In fact, being selfless is essential if you ever get married and have a family. If you're a parent, you would sacrifice your time, money, and effort to care and provide for your children. You would even have to sacrifice your dreams that you once had for the sake of your children. If parents prioritize themselves more than their family, they would become neglectful, or worse abusive. A parent can choose to be selfish or selfless. Choosing to be selfless isn't being empty/hollow/broken, but rather it's because you love. (That's the fundamental difference between Akina Myodo and Shirou Emiya. Akina does feel guilty, but he also sacrificed his time for Hikari because he loves his sister. This is radically different from Emiya's wish to become a hero. Shirou Emiya wanting to become a hero isn't out of love for people, but rather due to survivor's guilt, PTSD, and also wishing to gain the same smile Kiritsugu had when he saved Shirou. Being a hero isn't because he cares about others and more because it's his way to gain happiness. It's the "Chronic Hero Syndrome" trope taken to the absolute extreme, where it's not about whether someone/the world is saved or not but the fact that someone/the world is saved by him and no one else. Is it any wonder Archer failed being a hero, when he sees people as tools to achieve his goal? It's ironic really.) At the same time, I also don't blame Hikari for being guilty. It's fine to feel guilty or responsible. Trying to fix the problem isn't wrong either. Heck, even questioning Akina's thoughts and feelings isn't wrong either, because for all they know Akina could be lying to both her and himself. The problem lies with Hikari not talking about her feelings and not listening. Though, I can't blame her either, since she's a child. But if she had done so, things could've been far better even if it might not fix everything. Akina might still sacrifice his time for Hikari, but not as much to elevate Hikari's guilt, and Hikari would at least no longer have to bottle up her guilt while knowing Akina loves her regardless of the incident.
Lmao imagine that Akina dying from old age also counts as failing to prevent Akina from dying. If that counts, future Hikari gonna stay in the present forever. Also, if Liael=Amorta's wish grants temporally immortality to the wish holder and the target, Akina and future Hikari gonna be immortal since the wish will stop Akina from dying + future Hikari will be also needed to keep that wish running. Man imagine suffering from an illness yet unable to die due to immortality...
This weeks match is literally a combination of Leon vs reverse Leon (the fighters), chrono and ryuzu (their avatars power), chrono vs. aichi (the nation their avatars are from), and aichi vs ren (the light and shadow of their avatar)
@@platzstarlight I don't see any problem with that. Unlike before, he's not gonna risk dying doing it. The only risk we got in the destined showdown is Sybilt winning and destroying the world, so Akina will still have to participate regardless to stop Sybilt.
19:53 this moment is so good cause it now hikari turn to feel what it like to be called out cause. Future hikari acknowledged and accept what the current one is feeling tell her it isn’t wrong. But this path she choosing is one of being selfish cause instead of talking to Akina about things. Instead of Telling him how she feels and getting into fights about it She running from it believing that she doesn’t deserve forgiveness and needs to alter what happened. Saying that she doesnt need to punish herself like this. Cause she her akina is still alive So it not to late for her
Not to mention, By wanting to change the past, she is gonna let all of Akina's sacrifices and risks go to waste all for JUST the chance to change everything while still depending on her past self and Akina's past self to change things (imagine that). Not to mention, all the friends Akina made (thanks to the fated clash)? her own friendship with mikoto? all gone in a flash. more the reason to stop present hikari. ironically, future hikari is using her borrowed time so present hikari doesn't waste hers

I really love both liael and hikari lecturing and scolding themselves. Ironically like a big sister. And future hikari wasn’t hiding anything. Telling her she isn’t wrong to wish to change the past But pretty much telling her if she does this she’ll be saying goodbye Akina the brother she love so much

I just realized how much of a reliance “distorted bane” is for liael odium thinking about it further for story reason Could also symbolize how hikari has felt powerless this whole time. But instead of fight for it. Like future hikari she depending on the power given to her I just feel so sad for both hikari. Cause like Akina it must not have been easy for her to hear that but it so blinded by guilt that she couldn’t accept what she saying Saying it tooo late And for future hikari, seeing a reflection of her old self almost throwing away everything she ever wanted. She accepted everything. That she should be dead that the Akina of this world is not her brother that her current self is her. And now she has stop herself Myodos 😭 please let all of you be happy
You know s1 is basically fate route like where Akina using Liael to defense himself against Blangdmire like how Shirou use Avalon to defend himself & Saber from Ea's attack And now we got archer vs shirou treatment. I'll wait until we got heavens feel route to see if Akina use Rezael power so much that its destroy his body but using it to defeat the last bosses.
Wasn't expecting a 2-part fight for this one. I suppose there's going to be a lot of plot twist and what not next episode. Liael=Amorta support seems pretty good. Sequence is call from top 5 which is a plus. Also soulcharge which the deck desperately needs. Istear is a restanding booster which is nice. Not sure what Eaglet does. Also Future Hikari still EB7 to draw a card which means that none of the new cards use energy or they cost EB2. Need further clarification before I can say how good the supports are. My predictions for next episode. Future Hikari survived the Divine Skill by guarding with Liael=Amorta. Then comes the beatdown and venting grievances. After which Sybilt reveals that the whole thing is either A: rigged from the start so that no matter what happens Sybilt gets what he wants. Or B: Where Sybilt has bits of himself in Akina, Hikari, Nao, Suo and Kuon so he that he can bounces to whoever wins. Honestly I'm leaning more to A. We saw how Akina got his wish but there was still enough design force for whatever Gab wanted. It was also enough to summon the destined ones. Kinda like the corrupted grail in Fate/Zero where no matter who wins and what they wish for the grail will still ends up destroying stuff. Either way I'm exited for next episode.
Plus with the new card the deck pairs nicely with painkiller now all we need is a card that’ll take a liael from the drop and put it to the hand so. Hopefully the last card is a blitz order I never even thought of that. And now that I think about it. Even if she was eligible it strange Sybilt didnt have any sort of reaction
@@jamesluong5299 Don't bother using Painkiller. From what it looks like the SC is 1/Turn. Idiras already SB1 and he's your best target to bind. Amorta's G1 also SB1 to put card from drop to bot deck. You would usually use this to recycle your copies of Amorta. If you want to use painkiller its better to use Cellgaon instead.
I feel like the support is not enough but it’s definitely in the right direction. And I wholeheartedly agree with you said. The Myodo family can’t seem to catch a break but getting a two parter cardfight is a pleasant surprise because it’s surprisingly incredible so far and badass to be honest!!! 🙂↕️🤭🔥 #DivineZ
Future Hikari telling present Hikari she should talk to her brother because she can gives me chills, if she can survive a 2-turn atack it would be impressive
Take a note. F Hikari was at 3 dmg not 5 like Akina. Plus her hand is quite huge. There should be at least 3 pgs in hand. Plus if Hikari didn't draw persona next turn, her attacks will not be as strong as to diminish the F Hikari's hand.
Akina's lazily and redundant wish of "just wish for hikari to be healthy (even though she already is)" suddenly becomes relevant again. Is just that NOT for present hikari. but his big little sister Hikari from the future (healthy as in, "cure her from her illness" and in particular preserve her existence in this new timeline)
This fight was the goat. So good and CURSE YOU VANGUARD. I know why they did it but they had to make the fight a 2 parter. But when she did her persona rode turn im like wait that not the right song but it was still so good! The new support for liael is actually really interesting letting liael blitz attack be much stronger. What the heck is Sybilt planning and why on earth is KUON so freaking sus. It so weird
So who do you guys think will win? While I think Hikari has a chance, Hikari just seems stronger. So I think Hikari will beat Hikari and then Hikari will take the win. Unless Hikari maybe hit triggers, that is.
I’m a little surprised they havent mentioned to Suo that his wish being the reason for FHikari’s existence. Considering he’s not the least bit surprised that there are two Hikari
14:59 Wonder what her lore is. The fact that both Hikaris have a completely different version of her belonging to different nations suggests some super deep lore. Both of them have almost the same flavor text too, except Rezael (apparently, according to the wiki) is the heartfelt hidden thoughts of Amorta while he's the _distorted_ hidden thoughts of Odium. Apparently Amorta is Sindarin for "rise up" (I'm not really sure if they seriously used a fictional language here though) and Odium is Latin "the state or fact of being subjected to hatred and contempt as a result of a despicable act or blameworthy circumstance" Edit: So it turns out the lore is released, the wiki just didn't have it yet. I'll elaborate in a reply.
So Liael was an Angel Feather in the time of the United Sanctuary. She lost her life trying to protect people injured in the Proditio Rebellion (Hikari didn't die... Right? ) . Her lover, Rezael restored her body but couldn't bring her back to life and the Fated One of Zero, Blangdmire was created from his regrets. In more recent times, in Cray's version of the Fated Clash, Rezael died to Blangdmire's Hollow Zero just like how future Akina died as a result of future Suo's wish. In his death Rezael's Fated One power activated some Gear Chronicle ruins, bringing back the legacy of the otherwise absent so far Gear Chronicle part of the Dark States and Liael was brought back to life as Amorta, a false life with a false body however with Rezael's memories. However the time leap she made caused her to appear as an "egg" (the quotation marks are from the source IDK what the deal with them is) and had to be guarded CEO Welstra (which again seems to mirror events in Divinez though Future Hikari didn't have any complications like Amorta's turning into an egg and instead seems to be closer to what we learn in this episode of Taizo helping the collapsed Future Hiklari after the present day Fated Clash). Amorta then tried to prevent Rezael from participating in the FC which as you can guess didn't pan out and she instead helped defeat Blangdmire. Some time later, the Prayers of Despair collected by Sealed Blaze Maiden Bavsargra collected (referred to as the extremely strong Fate Power equivalent to half of all living beings on the world which makes no sense because Bavsargra isn't a Fated One) "leaked out of a distorted timeline" (quotation marks are mine this time because because WTF does that even mean? Does it come from a timeline where she was a Fated One? ) and activated the Gear Chronicle ruin instead, creating Odium and also restoring the Gear Chronicle units who decided to work for her. Odium was fueled by the despair and when Destined One of Infinity Levidras told her about what Rezael did (this is curious because Kuon didn't tell present Hikari about the Fated Clash, Sybilt did), her love for him somehow turned to anger towards him and Amorta. As you may have guessed, she then decided to go back in time and prevent her own death.
I don't know how the qualifications for the Seiyuu Awards work but goddamn at least nominate Yukimura Eri cuz she is amazing here being able to play 2 versions of the same person while still able to make both of them sound different. Now the episode. HOLY COW IN HEAVENS THAT WAS A 2 PARTER?! MID SEASON?! I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY COOKING BUT THEY DO BE COOKING 👨🍳👩🍳. I guess here's proof that the one person that can stop, chance or challenge you is literally yourself.
Imagine meeting your future self who knows exactly how you felt and also tried to change the past in their timeline. I wonder how she will deal with her present self’s broken Divine Skill?
I mean I think it comes down to if she has the final liael amorta card in her hand. Cause current hikari only has distorted bane so she’ll get the skill. But as for the attack it questionable how strong it will be. If she has shell survive but if she doesn’t who knows cause she also need at least 1 perfect guard
It's true, main Hikari is being selfish. They may both be the same and tried to rewrite history, but Future Hikari did it after years of suffering and having no way to get her brother back. Main Hikari still can change that by talking, but chose to do something so drastic when her brother isn't even lost to her. Truly, being faced by herself is the worst way to be told your ideals are wrong; because you can't refute them coming from yourself.
For me what’s make it better is that she even acknowledges and accept that her wish isn’t wrong. But instead calling out for is her wasting time cause she running away from Akina. She throwing away what future hikari ever wanted
It makes sense in the original world Suo killed everyone including people Sybilt possessed. Without a host, he will be eliminated and the Destined showdown never occurs and Hikari wouldn’t possess a Destined One of time card. My theory is that Sybilt plan has anything to do with Liael, with both of them fighting his chance to win increase. Remember no one can interfere with Fated Clash nor Destined Showdown so I'm sure that includes Gabwelius and Sybilt, what if Sybilt finds loop hole and he will possess whoever wins Destined Showdown as long as it has the power to change time, with both Hikari in the game wouldn't care if team fate one won the game. Because he just has to possess future Hikari and use Liael Amorta’s power.
5 more episodes left. I feel like no matter who wins and lets face it it'll probably be future Hikari with 3 damage and all the drawing she's been doing Sybilt will still find a way to enact his plan. They might do a plot twist and past Hikari gets an OT

Since liael re call units a card like that is nice since cause it can choose based on the situations. And Seem like the deck is moving to painkiller instead ceragon. Now all it needs is a way to get liael back
Future Hikari still sick makes her return both a little more coherent and more sad. Still, kind f lazy writing to have future Hikari "watching the cardfight from the shadows" without nobody actually noticing or Taizo acting strange as to avoid people found future Hikari.
That moment when you realize... the anime that we've been watching this whole time were the "alternate reality", since in the original timeline Suo won, Akina and the rest of the Fated Ones died, and Sybilt never came to Earth to start the Destined Showdown
It's curious that Future Hikari's deck seems to be an Angel Feather themed Keter Sanctuary deck when Present Hikari's deck is Gear Chronicle themed Dark States deck even though they both had a similar wish. I wonder what the contrast in the symbolism represents here? Obviously Gear Chronicle ties into the theme of time travel and Angel Feather seems to represent her wanting to save Akina but why do each of their decks only seem to represent one of these things?
Hikari from the future has already lost the power to time travel after she succeeded in going back, so I assume that's why her units aren't gear chronicle. The time part is over, now the goal is to save her brother. Hikari from the present still needs the time powers Gear Chronicle has.
@@e-tan3911 Maybe when we get Liael's lore it will make more sense, there's _definitely_ some degree of symbolism based on what little we do now about her. I analyzed what we currently have in a separate comment right after this one. Edit: Oh I just found the translations of the card lore, guess I'll have to update it.
Liael and Rezael are implied to be destined lovers. Rezael's miracles, despite the ability to save others, end up causing himself harm. Liael comes to his aid, and although she has the ability to manipulate time, it repeatedly results in her death, as if events always lead to that same conclusion. Liael=Amorta is the original, and Liael=Odium is a separate entity born from Amorta's emotions/consciousness(?) in conjunction with the corruption laid dormant in the Gear Chronicle ruins (hence why she's now suddenly part of Dark States and all of her support cards are Gear-themed, she's essentially a Gear Chronicle unit now), harbouring all of their hate and disdain for Rezael's actions, having to watch as he destroys himself for others, and knowing her other self perishes in the process as she tries to do her part. Might be missing a few details, but that's the gist of it.
tldr: Rezael was fighting Odium who was reborn with the power of despair (or something along these lines) then before odium's final blow lands, Amorta appears and shields Rezael then what happens after should be similar to this fight.
Imagine if she changed her past and ends up loosing akina because he didn't win against suo repeating the future hikari route, I think that is the plan of that red doll
Akina's group will give Future Hikari the wish, when they're side wins the Destined showdown, and maybe she'll actually be able to go back this time, cos even if Akina wishes for the older Hikari to get well like he did his sister, i doubt she'll still be able to go back to her own time.
Considering none of them have a wish they need the magic for (except maybe Masanori who wants to resurrect his best friend), i wouldn't be surprised they just gave her their wish. Probably trying to wish for her to somehow go back to her timeline / world (maybe revive her Akina, and explain that Akina she saw), and if that can't be done, wish for her to be able to stay in the present alive and healthy
Basically what we see up until now is like this: Fate Clash = Holy Grail War Destined Showdown = Apocrypha F Hikari vs P Hikari = Archer vs Shirou. So the last they will pull Solomon card from Grand Order?
Can we just say, that the writers KNEW how liael amorta bodies odium, so they had to take out her OT, make it so present hikari has 3 damage, AND two pgs? Like bro, im so glad we have a two episode fight, and its such a banger
@@DracoSenpai420no worries. Pretty much what I’m saying is that if she able to soul blast out the OT and calls sajess. On future hikari next turn if she survive will be able to power up liael due to sajess skill. So OT to soul was bad but she might be able to turn a bad situation into her advantage
There was someone else that put it better that I read, it's Leon vs. Leon (same characters), chrono vs chronotiger (the effects and couldn't remember the fighters name), aichi vs chrono (nations but I don't really count this), and aichi vs ren (light and dark sides).
New support for Amorta is not bad, but unfortunately not enough. If g2 has: "at the start of the opponent battle phase choose a card with 'Lieal' in name and add to hand then put this card into soul" it will be much better is actually what Amorta needs. 2 SC cards is certainly gave the option for using Painkiller, furthermore g1's skill is not once per turn and can stand more then once.
That version of g2 its just too op, and a perma pg, what actually liael needs was the searcher instead of calling a Card to board, was a search for a Liael, here could be a Lil bit for free to play, and have a good way to manage the bind, and use the old g1 that can put something in the bottom deck, which would be the liael, so you Could cycle it, as a pg or persona
And u would be obligated and forced to choose between persona or pg, since ure also the Only divine deck that can GO a full game without having a chance to activate the divine skill, which is so disrespectfull They Only made the Card to save rezael and for the plot, and thats stupid, we fella liael player have no hope, rip, liael until a really gud support
@@leandromarques172 what are you talking about?🙄 LM had more outrageous cards then that. Plus Nilberis is a far greater cheat, since he checks top after each attack also draw. A simple Persona recover is not op at all, considering how outrageous decks are in this season.
Amorta needs a Razionel, something like: "when this unit, or your other unit is called to the RG circle by the effect of your "Liael" named vanguard, Cost: (bind 2 normal units from drop): your front row gets + 5K until the end of the turn, if your opponent is G3 or greater EB3 stand one of your units"
The one thing that bugs me the most is that Sybilt accepted it so easily. I mean I had a feeling that Sybilt knew about the existence of future Hikari considering she stayed in the timeline. But what bothers me the most is his smirk at the end of the episode. Is it because he thinks that current Hikari is gonna win or there's still more if future Hikari wins?
@@elin111 🙄 can you count? Odium regains back 5 cards from drive, while Amorta 3. Plus with all Distort Bane in Timepiece, Odium's power is greater. Amorta has a brick hand problem unlike Odium.

I wonder what Liael Amorta regret is, perhaps it wasn't regret but envy knowing that Rezael is not her Rezael but other Liael Amorta, that why she become Odium.
Liael regret that Rezael died after Blangdmare killed him... Rezael's design force resurrected Liael as Amorta and Liael time travel back to prevent Rezael's death... Which she did in Season 1 (After Amorta changed the timeline) While Liael got resurrected as Odium due to power of despair, she also regrets how Rezael continues his foolish act every time. So she plans to kill Rezael in an act of love cause both Rezael and Liael are too pure for this world. I think Odium also planned to change the timeline as well (Cray)
while literal, it may not be clear to the audience how “someone telling her younger self about what she knows to prove she’s herself” could be “the worst”
Man can't believe I just witnessed both of Rezael's two new wives fighting over him. At least the world is compensating by giving him Amorta and Odium after the despair he went through following the death of OG Liael.

And keep in mind: people die when they’re killed.😂
And it actually put it even more into perspective of how hikari feeling and it not that her wish is both a selfless and selfish wish

Kinda similar to how liael odium deck needs to have at least 2 distorted bane in hand before divine skill which is a big weakness.
At the same time, I also don't blame Hikari for being guilty.

Saying that she doesnt need to punish herself like this. Cause she her akina is still alive

Hopefully the last card is a blitz order
I never even thought of that.
I'm gonna go with C: The mask Future hikari got was actually Sybilt
I feel like the support is not enough but it’s definitely in the right direction. And I wholeheartedly agree with you said.
The Myodo family can’t seem to catch a break but getting a two parter cardfight is a pleasant surprise because it’s surprisingly incredible so far and badass to be honest!!! 🙂↕️🤭🔥

Judge! My opponent is claiming to be me from the future!
What is lore for this fight again. Or else i am going to assume two girls fighting for Rezael’s supremecy
Rezael in the lore: Now which of the two do I marry?
Have to Marry both because it is lovd triangle
@@ianr.navahuber2195I mean she is “participating” in the fated clash so she might earn the right for another wish

And u would be obligated and forced to choose between persona or pg, since ure also the Only divine deck that can GO a full game without having a chance to activate the divine skill, which is so disrespectfull
They Only made the Card to save rezael and for the plot, and thats stupid, we fella liael player have no hope, rip, liael until a really gud support
@@leandromarques172 what are you talking about?🙄 LM had more outrageous cards then that. Plus Nilberis is a far greater cheat, since he checks top after each attack also draw. A simple Persona recover is not op at all, considering how outrageous decks are in this season.

being Hikari is a curse lol
Hikari finally beating up the person who ruined her life. (It was herself)
Man can't believe I just witnessed both of Rezael's two new wives fighting over him.
At least the world is compensating by giving him Amorta and Odium after the despair he went through following the death of OG Liael.
Oh no....
DZ Season 3: Another version of Hikari with the OG Lialel shows up
Akina: See what you did for messing with time so many times O__O
@@NoobletTheUnskilled Who would thought that Hikari os getting the Sendou Aichi treatment right now? lols xD
@@ArcaniteMaster So basically every time Rezael gets a new wife, Akina gets a new sister. That's a fair trade.
@@ArcaniteMaster Majesty Lord Liael would be the best thing to happen rn.
@@BlizzardLuinor I second that lmao xD
Hikari is going to win yeaya
