When we use research paper that have 3 or more authors , firstly should we mention all authors and then should we use et al or can we use et al ,of beginning ?

Eg: ( Schneider et al.,2007) In reference list, If there are three to twenty authors, You should mention last names of all the authors in the order they appear in the resource . Eg : Schneider,Z.,Whitehead,D.,& Elliott,D.(2007) The name of the last author should be connected with '&' We do not use et al in rederence list
