They aren't worth it. Unless your picking them up for like $2 or $3 even then they are bulky, and take up space. They could sit for months just to make a few dollars. I made tons of mistakes with this type of stuff over the years. Only way it would make sense is if you came across them in bulk. 10 or 20 pairs for a few bucks each. If you had the room then maybe I'd pick em up.....but probably not lol
It's important to note that these items typically have low margins, unless they're vintage. However, even vintage pieces aren't automatically valuable. If I sell them for $15, my profit is only around $5. I usually only pick them up when I don't have better options.
