    Would love to see a video from someone explaining how to properly tune one of the qsc clutches. Bought mine set up but I'm sure it's not perfect .
    This video was very helpful for when I put mine on , thanks !

      Glad the video was helpful! Problem with tuning the QSC is that there is no “perfect” tune. Everyone rides differently and most setups are different. It really comes down to what feels right to the rider.

    hey snoman, as a PM i would highly recommend you pull those clutches back off and the cvt back plate on the engine and gearbox and re-seal the o-rings with a light coating of high temp silicone. those brand new clutches will be filthy full of mud water if those o-rings start leaking around the 1000km mark... other then that happy ripping :)

    • @SnomanOffroad
      @SnomanOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Beauty! Thanks for the advice bro! Will definitely do that!

    • @ProjectVengeance
      @ProjectVengeance 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SnomanOffroad when you do it make sure to seat the cvt boots fully. Sometimes they can be a bit tricky to get back over the cvt plate. Triple check that you have those boots on correctly. And clamps snug. Then you will be golden for a very long time 👍

    Exhaust! Also are you gonna be adding the AM clear clutch cover by any chance?

    • @SnomanOffroad
      @SnomanOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exhaust - check! I doubt I’ll do the clear cover……the clutches look nice but that cover isn’t really my style. Too flashy for me.

    who did you buy your clutches from? Were they tuned ok? I am in Canada and it seems hard to get in contact with good guys

    • @SnomanOffroad
      @SnomanOffroad  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Try Peterborough Powersports or L1fe Outdoors. Tuning is a different story. It’s been a real trial and error to get it where I like it. Thankfully I have a buddy that’s done most of the research on tuning and I’ve just been copying him lol

    I got a 2022 renegade 650 xmr coming in march but how do you break it in I have heard people say to drive it in low gear for about an hour and it should be fully broken in I just don’t know

    • @SnomanOffroad
      @SnomanOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Toss her in low and ride at different speeds for a bit. That’ll break in the belt for ya. Basically, just don’t throw her in high and send it on your first ride……..

    Is this the same method on changing the primary and secondary on a 2015

    • @SnomanOffroad

      You might find the set screw and bolt on the primary slightly different/might not, but yes same method.

    Primary bolt doesn’t require loc tite. The secondary bolt definitely needs loctite

    • @SnomanOffroad
      @SnomanOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some blue loc tight definitely doesn’t hurt…….

    • @minnesotaxmr
      @minnesotaxmr 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ohhh.. yes it does. A little on the start threads so the rest of the threads run through the Blue loctite. BLUE = Secure But removable.
