Man I have missed so many of your videos! I’m subbed and have the bell set for all vids, but I haven’t seen anything pop up in a LONG time! My algorithm or something must be off. Book looks great and that table is awesome!
I think the layout is nicer - might pick up a copy on the cheap from Target, and during their buy 2 get 1 free sales - probably all 3 books for $60 before taxes!
On page 32 is a full color image of the kids from the D&D cartoon. In the upper right corner is a caption depicting the kids... It names Hank, Bobby, Sheila, Diana, and Presto. However, where is Sheila?? Was she forgotten?? You would think this is something that WotC might pay more attention to. Granted, she has the Cloak of Invisibility, but wouldn't be better to show her in her signature move of putting on the hood whilst looking over her shoulder and part of her body has vanished?
I don't have a desire to purchase any of the books from the newer editions, but I loved the flipthrough. Have you considered purchasing a book stand for filming, especially if you're going to be doing more flipthroughs of new books where you don't want to damage the spine? I don't know if there's a specific name for them, but there are book stands that are shaped like an "x" or a "v" that will prevent the book from completely opening flat. edit: One other suggestion. Maybe put an outline around the text on your thumbnails to help it stand out?
Teifling should not be a race. They are demons and would be hunted by paladins. This edition makes no sense. Ever since they took out racial tendencies the game went downhill. 1st edition is still the only playable edition.
Thanks for giving us a quick look at each page! I need to start playing D&D in addition than just watching videos.

Despite the foil nature of the cover, I admit the art looks stunning, shiny like full of light!

You’re right! I can’t find Sheila in the painting - not even a shadow of her or floating eyeballs…

All great ideas! My hand was starting to cramp up towards the end!
One day I’ll be able to get into a D&D group
Is it just me or in a sort of way it remmeber Pathfinder?
Almost all illustrations have characters with standing pose,.... that's sad story telling with art.
