You asked about shoes on one of your vids, I have a couple of pairs of ALTRA Men's Lone Peak low, one All-WTHR, waterproof, and one regular non-waterproof. great shoes and they shed mud really well. keep on slinging plastic dude.
I once played there and lost two discs (one in the water, one in the weeds), but found three other discs in the weeds, so went home with more than I started with. No names or phone numbers (I always mark mine). Once I had someone call me after they found one of my discs (Leopard Pro) in the water and I got it back. Great course, but quite risky!
@@tossingplastic I was also shocked. I love that course, but have only played a few times. I usually think "maybe I should wait until I get a little better." Enjoyed the video, great job. I could picture each hole from memory as you threw. There were actually several holes that used to have that 4-foot high mess along the fairway that were mowed in the video. Most of the discs I lost were in that high vegetation.

I’ve never seen the rough so we’ll maintained. I’ve played it 3 times and vowed to not play it again. Not because of water, because of the grass and plants that want to kill me
I had a chance to play Fountain Hills in Arizona. It's just a counter clockwise 20 holes around a lake. Many chances to lose discs, but no real "rough" to speak of. If you throw it toward the water, you can usually see it go in!

On hole 18 I find the best way is a low driven hyzer so that it skips. I usually end up pretty parked that way!

I typically throw a forehand with a beater disc straight into the side of that building, the bounce will typically put the disc right under the basket

I went there about 2 years ago and it was pretty dirty and not maintained. I heard they were trying to work on it a bit more though!
