Awesome video--I like one off volumes with unusual art styles applied to the the Dark Knight.

sleepyreader666 thanks Damian! I think you'd really like the art in this story up close. You'd just have to stomach the subject matter...it's a real gut punch, especially to us parents.

I've read the comic. And I right away *immediately* knew who was the killer. The first moment he showed up I just definitely knew. Because of course child killer would take role of someone who takes care of the kids and also the whole "introduce the villain as someone new working for you" plot is overdone.

Similar to Trail of the Gun I felt it was incredibly heavy handed.

@@gothamcentral917 I think Chuck Dixon illustrated it the best, at the end of the day comics were originally deigned for children the colourful outfits and personality were originally made for kids perverting it and making it dark is unnecessary.

@@iceomistar4302 that is an interesting perspective. I think Mr. Dixon’s view point is not totally wrong. For me, I just like the artistic style to match the tone of the story being told

@@gothamcentral917 That's fair enough, I respect that and would agree, comics becoming too adult ever since the bronze Age has been an issue with comic writers trying to tell adult stories through the lense of children's characters, I think personally comics should be for all ages, it shouldn't be too kidfriendly but neither should it be so adult as to alienate newer readers often children. It's just my opinion of course but I do wish that DC and Marvel would tell more stories that everyone can read.

@@iceomistar4302 Don’t see why comic book characters have to be for kids? Just because there’s pictures and fantastical elements doesn’t mean it’s for kids or should be for kids. There’s plenty of stories for young teens and kids out there and there’s plenty for teenagers young adults and adults. Comics should be for everyone and the characters shouldn’t be labeled as simply kids characters. A lot of these characters are extremely complex with decades of story building around them it really only makes sense that some of the stories matured as the characters did as well.
