Adventure Ride through the Dirt Roads of Nariel Valley | S1-E4

Today is the first day of my three days solo motorcycle ride. I am riding to Lakes Entrance via Holbrook, Corryong, Benambra, Omeo and Bruthen. The trip to Lakes Entrance and back home is just over 950 kilometres.
Holbrook NSW:
HOLBROOK is a city in New South Wales, Australia. It has many popular attractions, including Holbrook Submarine Museum, National Museum of Australian Pottery, Woolpack Inn Museum, making it well worth a visit.
Tintaldra VIC:
TINTALDRA was settled in 1837 and is said to be the first pioneer settlement in the Upper Murray. Tintaldra is located halfway between Corryong and Walwa on the Murray River Road. Steeped in history and true country hospitality Tintaldra offers a glimpse into our pioneering history.
Corryong VIC:
CORRYONG is famous as the final resting place of Jack Riley, considered by many to be the inspiration for the hero in Banjo Paterson's poem The Man from Snowy River. Visit Jack Riley's grave at the Corryong Cemetery or learn more about the legend at The Man from Snowy River Folk Museum.
I loved riding on the dirt road (about 70 kilometres) between Colac Colac and Benambra. The beauty of a dirt road is that it forces us to slow down, pay attention and enjoy the ride. You can smell the air, hear the birds, see the land in a different way.
Omeo VIC:
Witness OMEO's beautiful hilltop vistas on the edge of the Snowy Mountains, along the Great Alpine Road. This pioneering mountain town is renowned for its gold mining history, high country cattle grazing and historic buildings.
Bruthen VIC:
BRUTHEN features an attractive commercial centre, consisting of a number of speciality shops, a general store (built in 1860) and the historic post office (built in 1890). Shady gardens with a rotunda and picnic areas are situated beside the town's main street.
