U.S. citizen here with a few of things to share about the U.S. version of Ghosts: 1) The couple, Sam and Jay, inherited a mansion from Sam's great aunt who passed away, and the show takes place in New York State where Sam is a journalist and Jay is a chef. 2) There are over a dozen ghosts in the mansion in the U.S. version (8 main and several minor), about half are similar to their U.K. version counterparts, but the other half are either a mix of 2 of the U.K. ghosts or completely original. 3) Sam and Jay only inherited the mansion and they sold everything to turn it into a bed & breakfast, so there is a recurring plot point in the show about them needing the business to work or else they're gonna have to move. And 4) The episodes are about 8 minutes shorter then the U.K. version, so the jokes are more fast paced then the U.K. version (at least from what I have seen of it). I do enjoy both versions if Ghosts and hope more people from the U.S. and the U.K. watch some episodes of both to make a fair comparison of the 2.

Just watched the trailer for the US version.... oh dear!
U.S. citizen here with a few of things to share about the U.S. version of Ghosts:
1) The couple, Sam and Jay, inherited a mansion from Sam's great aunt who passed away, and the show takes place in New York State where Sam is a journalist and Jay is a chef.
As a southeast asian local, I am now chanting:
Please come to Netflix, Please come to Netflix, Please COME TO NETFLIX!!! I mean...Sherlock made it so...
I use VPN but I can only watch on my mobile phone. I want to watch on TV.
You can watch it on bbc iplayer in Singapore so I binge-watched two seasons of it.
I binged watch all of the available episodes. Such an Amazing show
This is literally me trying to tend to my 6 year old son’s every whim.
Found this show because of its American version... But this one is sooo much better! I need a fourth season!
I honestly think both are treasures.
This was my favourite scene from season 2
What we need now is Mary in the White House asking a certain person to Get Out, Get out, Get Out ;)
Apparently she heard you :)
You have an unhealthy hatred of working class Americans.
And how is that working out? Enjoy the illegals pouring over the border? Gas up a dollar a gallon? Thousands of people losing their jobs when Keystone was shut down, yet Russia got the go ahead to build theirs? Need I go on? Because I can.
@@saran.4001 it’s going splendidly! Those illegals as you call them don’t really affect daily life. Gas was already on the way up during Trump and employment is going up. Stock market is great. Best of all, we don’t have a reality star performance artist in the White House but a responsible human being instead.
@@free22 Biden has dementia. Gas was not going up it has been 6months is is up over a dollar a gallon. Employment is not going up because nobody will work thanks to you democrats paying people to stay home. Do name one positive thing Biden has done, now in this administration or ever in his entire career. You can't. Hey, and he caused the Middle East to fire back up by giving Iran money, which funds Hamas. Nice going.
I love both the BBC and American version of this show. What happened to the BBC version?
Aw this show makes me so happy!! I really want to watch it
Looking forward to the next series
I don't know anything about this, but she seems so kind.
Absolutely love this series
This is probably my favourite “adult” to show on earth
This is probably one of the most brilliantly written scenes in television history
Good job! That was great!
