When I was 18 and a senior in high school I almost died. My mother owned your album and let me play it as much as I needed and it is what pulled me through. Today my heart was very heavy as I am facing a lot and I had to pull this video up and listen and remember that there are always reasons to pull through. Very nice! You had me stumped for a smidge of a second! Hyde has to be "within" a stone's throw! Actually the "stone's throw away" island is St. Simon's---one of the oldest settlements in the USA--- Jekyll Island being the summer home of the country's early millionaires..i.e. Rockefeller and Goodyear and others. The movie "Johnathan Livingston Seagull" is a film of rare beauty, felt by people with special culture qualities; to this is added the soundtrack of the movie that is a "sonorous jewel" made by one of the most "big voices" in the world ... NEIL DIAMOND ... after listening to the gorgeous pieces of fim you have to stay for a while hours alone living the ecstasy you feel ....
I do not have superlatives to congratulate this movie with his dream music ...

After Hot August Night in 1972, Neil decided to take a 3-year sabbatical from concert touring, it was during this period that he composed the soundtrack for Jonathan Livingston Seagull. A truly inspired work. I truly doubt that anyone else would have had the ability, the introspectability to produce such a masterpiece. Truly inspirational.
