g2 pilot black pens and pentel energel black pens are great for notetaking and don't run out of gel too fast, I have had mine for more than a year and used to take notes everyday for school and they still have ink in them!

The reason why the small straps can be attached together is - as you said for carrying it - but also you can put your jacket or scarf or whatever into that and it holds it nicely.

I get the pentel energel pens and you can buy refils for them, or even put the refils in other pens I would 10/10 recommend if you go through ink fast cause you can just buy ink refills instead of more pens

A good pen that doesn’t run out of ink is the “Tru Red” brand at staples you get like a pack of 20 for a good price. One of my favs 😊

Carina, if you need a good pen, I recommend the pentel energel black pens. One of my fav pens. They last very long, smudge very little under highlighters and are great for making neat notes! Other School supplies I recommend:

for black ballpoint pens, i love the bic atlantis for note taking. they are so smooth when riding and don't smudge or smear.

For your pens, I also run out of ink quickly, but I would rly recommend buying ink refills instead of the pens every 3 months. It is much cheaper and less wasteful :). I buy mine on Amazon.

a black ballpoint that ive been using for a year now (also comes in blue, red and green idk if it comes in anything else) is the stabilo pointball in 0.5 it works really well and its quite a thick barrel so its easy to hold :]
my first day of school is in september and i am really excited because i was sick this year and my school made lessons in person in mai 2021 and at this time i was over 2 months in the hospital so icouldn`t go there. so im really excited

If you're looking for strictly a black ballpoint I would recommend the Pilot Acroball ones.
If you're willing to try out some gel pens for note taking I would highly recommend the Pentel Energel (available in 0.5, 0.7) or Zebra Sarasa Mark On (available in 0.4/0.5). Both dry super quick with no smudging and you can highlight quickly after writing without smudging like most other gel pens. I've seen packs of both on Amazon that come with a blue and red pen too for annotating or corrections. Side note: the Pentel 0.7 feels more bold than a regular 0.7 but it is a really dark black. I prefer the 0.5 for this reason since it feels easier to read for me

I use the Jetstream 0.5 black ballpoint pen for all of my notetaking. It writes very smoothly and personally, I don't think it runs out very quickly.
Jetstream is a classic Japanese ballpointpen brand.
I recommend the zebra sarsa I really love their pens
I go back to school in 2 weeks and a freshman. I am excited and nervous at the same time because I'm doing speech and debate along with theater and 2 Honors classes.

Ugh girl, my school starts August 3 and I am very not excited for school this year just because I did summer school over the summer and I don’t feel like I got a good summer. But I am also just a very anxious person when it comes to school. I’m not sure why but I hope my final year will be the best!
My personal favorite pens are the Pilot G-2 pens. I was able to take a school years worth of notes for one of my classes with 1 pen without the ink running out. They sell ink refills so even when you do run out, you can just buy more ink instead of having to get new pens completely. I also love the colored versions for color coding my notes.
How much were they?
@@thegodofpigeons at Walmart you can get a 5 pack of black pens for about $7, i got my 20 pack of colored G-2 pens for about $21 at target. Also i haven't needed to purchase refills but I've seen prices range from $3 to $5 for a 2 pack depending on pen color and store. Hope this helped!
