As a Cyclops fan finally, FINALLY he becomes the leader he always was meant to be as I read it in the comics he was the leader finally the real X-MEN RETURN !!!!

The voice actor for Cyclops did a stellar job of mimicking the original. If I didn’t know the original voice actor passed away I wouldn’t have noticed the difference

For all the things X-Men movies did well, translating Cyclops to the big screen was not one of them. The 90s cartoon did a so much better job. So well that, it's amazing how many fans I've not only heard speak positively of the character, but identify Scott as their first crush.
Cyclops was 100% my favorite X-Men growing up with this show. Then I was gaslit for years that he sucked, not only from the movies, but from the people around me. It wasn't until a few years back when I read the Arc with Cyclops becoming a revolutionist that I was reminded that he truly is The Guy.
“Previously on X-Men.” I missed this series so much. This trailer brings me back to my childhood. The animation is amazing and I’m glad most of the voice actors came back. I love it when Cyclops says, “To me, my X-Men.” It’s great to see Cyclops leading the team again & his second in command Storm. Gambit charging Wolverine’s claws is pure awesomeness. I’m very excited and the music hits so hard.
I am a Cyclops fan. He’s my favorite marvel character period. I hated how they nerfed him in the movies
I've missed sassy southern Belle Rogue sooo much! Gambit & Rogue's relationship is one of my favs! Makes me wonder with Bishop there and Jean being preggars, will that Storm & Wolverine hook up happen 🤔

Gotta love there are some people upset saying they made the X-Men "woke". Apparently they really haven't been paying attention. Morph's new look seems to be taken from his Age Of Apocalypse timeline counterpart.

The X-men movies should be called Wolverine and His X-Men, the movies really made a disservice not just to cyclops but to Rogue also. Rogue was such a bad ass in the 90’s animation in the movies she was a depowered teenager with puppy crushes.

the show is entirely 3D. its just how they've animated it and made the models, it near perfectly mimic 2d animation
I never saw the original series but the music here got me hyped. Will definitely be binging the original show before watching this.

I cannot wait for this!!! Saturday mornings with my "confleis" in the sofa ALL.OVER.AGAIN! Is that the grown up mutant that looks like Voldemort (Newt?) from the Calysto episodes in the sewers? You can see him at the end when they are facing Magneto.

This is a good reminder that I really need to catch up with your X-Men reactions on Patreon.
The trailer has me sooooo hyped. The og series was what got me into comics and superheroes, being the very first thing i ever saw of marvel as a kid. Instantly was fascinated by Rogue and Gambit and can't wait to see them and the rest back on my screen in this new series. I think they got the animation just right in being reminiscing of the '92 style and today's crisp animation style.
The whole Morph thing just makes me laugh at the incels and "anti woke" cry babies over it as its clear they never understood what X-Men was all about if they think only noe its gone "woke".

Banshee and Archangel! I'm 42 so I remember watching the original X-Men cartoon, before the 90's iteration. Do you recall that show, it was also amazing? Really hope this is great. Cyclops is my favorite and he's always undervalued. So I'm glad about him getting more shine. At least he has some good comic runs. Bendis Uncanny is S tier.

I saw this reply concerning Jean Grey's storyline here considering what happened in the old series and Mr. Sinister is still alive...here it is:
Several years ago when it was confirmed that 97' was happening, a script was leaked (I can no longer trace the source of the article) but in summary, if the script is true, it is no secret that Mister Sinister is obsessed with Jean Grey & Scott Summers (especially with Jean) - he collected genetic samples of theirs thus cloning Jean creating Madelyn Pryor but in this 97' version, it's not entirely following its comic book counterpart - this clone is programed with all of Jean's memories to whereas she is convinced she is Jean (unaware that she is a clone). In the trailer, a casket was shown lowering (it was someone's funeral; it's not Charles Xavier - Charles is not dead. Charles is in space with Lilandra as she is using Shi'r technology to cure him from the last finale of season 5) - that casket is an empty casket for Jean Grey - Jean is presumed to be dead after a deadly bombing by the purifiers/anti-mutant hate group but her body isn't nowhere to be found but she is presumed to be dead. Mister Sinister used this opportunity to use Jean's clone to replace her, hoping it will create a byproduct of a child with Scott Summers - Cable. Eventually, the real Jean comes back and the clone Jean is driven into madness after discovering her life is a lie and that she is indeed just a clone of Jean Grey. The clone Jean soon calls herself Madelyn Pryor in order to find her own identity and ultimately becomes the Goblin Queen (if you look up hasbro x-men 97' line up toys, Goblin Queen is in it; confirming this story). The Phoenix entity is the source behind Jean's disappearance - during the attack from the purifiers and the deadly bomb, everyone's lives were at stake & she subconsciously called out to the Phoenix Force once more again to her aid (because she still has this link or per say psychic link or connection to the Phoenix, whether if it's a fragment of the Phoenix, i don't know) whereas saving everyone from the attack - Jean was missing because she was in suspended animation in the white hot room. They're bringing back the Phoenix to 97' because the Phoenix saga and the Dark Phoenix saga is widely popular and disney/Marvel knows it's a smart move to bring the Phoenix back - It sounds like they're going to introduce a similar story to that of the Phoenix warsong & Phoenix endsong and because the Phoenix is coming back, Charles Xavier and the Shi'r Queen Lilandra will once again make their appearance as well (Charles is cured by Lilandra through the use of Shi'r technology) as we all know, the Shi'r will do everything in their power to eradicate the Phoenix entity.
Xmen is my #1 Marvel anything. Feels like proper order in the MCU is returning with Mutants back front and center!
Guys, remember the end of the series, it ended with Lilandra from the Shi'ar world taking Charles Xavier to her world called Aerie in order to save Charles' life, so Charles Xavier must not be dead. This must be a spoiler for the series, if they are really going to follow the story as it ended Charles Xavier is not dead.

The animation looked a bit choppy and stilted to me, but hopefully when the show comes out it'll feel more fluid and natural!
I hope this series will be easy to understand & get into even if you haven't seen the original series.
The gambit giving his powers to Wolverines Claws was pretty cool and kinda weird. But I am a #1 Gambit Fan so I'll accept it. I really can't wait for the story to unfold, and why did I think in the looks like Senate the guy with the Purple cape was Shredder. LOL
I'm glad Marvel's been moving more into animated properties lately. I would *love* to see Marvel do a full animated universe tbh (like the DCAMU & Tomorrowverse). I'd also love more animated shows like X-Men: Evolution & Wolverine and the X-Men.
They already confirmed 4 seasons and as of afew months ago was in the studio shooting the 2nd season according to the Rogue character actress.
The beginning was Callisto pulling Leech into the shadows...and they already green light season 2

The last scene of the trailer, Magneto is a cell-shaded 3D character, look at those lines.
Was too old for the original cartoon series but was collecting X-Men comics for years before the series came out = I was there for X-Men 200 when Magneto took over for Xavier. So it was SO exciting to see a MCU-produced X-Men project come to life 😃👍🏾👌🏾#ToMeMyXMen ##MakeMineMarvel

them changing morph to be non-binary is one of the most obvious choices to make because both Morph and Mystique are fucking shape shifters where they are constantly changing their own identities. we never had a term like that and that just fits. hopefully the writing is very solid. love how much x-men love we're now getting.
