    Nice. I have been a professional technician for 40 years. I have watched a lot of people claiming to be a Technician on here. I think I just watched one of my first well done videos by a technician. And I was able to watch the whole thing. Great job. Very interesting and informative.

      Hey Kevin. I have aftermarket Piaa lights on my banshee. Doesn't seem strong enough to power them. Any idea where I can get a aftermarket stator? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

    • @kevingalindo1
      @kevingalindo1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jorge Your stator May be getting weak, bad reg or something like that.
      Are they the PIAA bulbs for stock housings? I use them and they seem to work well.

      My builder said it was still fine. But that it will have to get replaced to run my lights.
      It's actually the whole setup replacing the stock lights. Almost look like bug eyes lol. Maybe I can email you a picture or something. Thanks for replying to my message

      Thanks, I was just watching it for the third time, I critique my own videos pretty hard. I was thinking I went a little bit too fast, next time I will slow down some. I have to remember I am making these for people who have never done this before. I think I was just too excited to be doing a new video LOL

    • @kevingalindo1
      @kevingalindo1  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Winden Trimble
      Engine cc doesn’t determine what fuel you can run, so you can build whatever the heck ya want. Just gotta use “pump gas domes” keep the compression down under 155-160

  • @chadwems
    @chadwems 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    it sucks cause now he has to buy clutch plates and a basket and dont get me started on that broke off bolt. and sorry about your shee. if you remember. December 2016 that happened to me..banshee had stock crank in it from 2004 crank came apart on right side and took it out

    • @kevingalindo1
      @kevingalindo1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      BansheesNBuicks
      Yup i realized I didn’t snap that bolt, it was covered in sealant and if you look when I start removing the case bolts, that one was already missing. He’s about 2000.00 in right now for :
      New Welded crank
      Dune/tree shoot port
      Bore
      New pistons all from HERR
      Chariot basket
      Chariot cool head
      Stroker domes
      Billet intake
      VF-4 reeds
      Stainless bolt kit
      New inner hub
      pancake bearing
      Gasket kit
      Clutch
      Sure I’m leaving some out.
      Like to get him to pro mod it.oh and a DRW case saver too.

    What’s ur rate for a 4 mil build? I’d have to send from AZ

    • @kevingalindo1
      @kevingalindo1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Winden, my labor rate for the build itself is 425-450 regardless it being a stock rebuild or anything else. That covers my supplies like oils, sealants, paints, fuel for running parts for shipping and or powder. You’ll get either pics of the build unless I make a series out of it like this one, and a video of the passed leakdown.

    • @windentrimble3534
      @windentrimble3534 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sorry... what’s entire build cost? Thanks

    • @kevingalindo1
      @kevingalindo1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Winden Trimble, for a good stock cyl 4 mil long rod about 2500.00 labor and all.
      Port/bore
      Trued/welded crank
      Chariot basket
      Chariot pancake bearing
      New clutch
      Cool head/domes
      New bolt kit
      V-force 4 reeds
      Billet intake
      What you don’t need want will save ya cash. This is what is being done to this engine. There will be a total build list and total when completed. Cylinders are already gone for port work and parts on the way, hope to have done in 10 days or so.

    • @kevingalindo1
      @kevingalindo1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rod smith, looking at about 1500 for the 4 mil setup. That’s port work, domes, gaskets, seals, crank. Labor is 450.00
