Here’s the second video in our #MusicInOurSchoolsMonth etude series! Musician 1st Class Dan Coffman shares tips and performs Marco Bordogni’s Etude no. 41.
Musician First Class Dan Coffman is a native of Oak Park, Illinois. He received his bachelor’s degree in trombone performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where he studied with Pete Ellefson. He also studied with Larry Zalkind at the Eastman School of Music, where he earned his master’s degree and performance certificate.
With the USNA Band, MU1 Coffman has presented recitals and masterclasses at the Catholic University of America, the University of Southern Mississippi, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
