The JMP 2204 is a weird beast (at least the early models) : it is not the 50W version of the 2203 (different preamp), while the JCM800 2204 is the 50W version of the JCM800 2203. So the mods made were : 1/ Same preamp as 2203 and 2/ a little less brightness
