100% agree nick, I've worked as a personal trainer and gym manager and now gone back to personal in a gym set up and after attending a biosignature course in june I'll be setting up on my own of my 18 clients currently in the gym 15 are coming with me privately because of the results and the customer care I deliver. Great video I'm a huge fan of your methodology and training principles. Keep it coming, its much appreciated. Dean.
Great video Nick. I'm fairly new to the industry and what you've just said about getting into the mindset of my clients is something I have been focusing on, but you confirming that I'm heading in the right direction has just given me that extra bit of confidence. I love sharing and inspiring my clients with my own life experiences and its something I feel gives me an edge over other trainers in my area. So cheers for the videos and I look forward to watching and learning more.
Nick, glad I check your video, thanks for sharing your wisdom. This video helps me understand without 'result' all successful marketing avenues are 'short breath' of success. Thank You!
Great video, a must watch for anyone working in fitness. Always good to see one of the best in the industry being genuinely honest & humble, looking forward to the next video.
Well said Nick! Every day my focus is on how I can get better results with my clients. This is and has always been my number one priority. But of course there is something to be said about proper marketing knowledge as well right? Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Once again I am enjoying this video series!
If you don't / can't market your results then you're in trouble. But here's a point that I'm going to make in another video at some stage - why the **** should a Personal Trainer be judged based on his / her ability to market? If we had a better structure and career path in this industry I would argue that we can (and should) move away from being a disparate group of one man bands constantly trying to one up each other, and become larger, more powerful (dare I say more corporate) entities that can be a force for good because collectively we always have more influence than in isolation.
Fantastic, Nick. Thanks for this. PTs need to get inside their own heads in the first place. A weak mind will fail to inspire. Researching Marbella right now. HIGHLY considering a move there in two months time - 75% because of the new gym opening. Bound to attract some world class people. I see it as one of the "Meccas" of the world, along the lines of Golds, Venice Beach. Spain isn't so bad, either ;)
Absolutely Correct ~ Didnt hv to wait for u to say that Clients Results r by far the most important thing in a PT business !! Ur business can Explode even if u do not use Social Media or any other type of advertizing ~ If ur clients get results other ppl will see, word of mouth will spread !! Unfortunately a lot of PTs think too much about themselves, in some cases, to the point of Showing Off to their clients making them feel bad for not being able to replicate what the PT has done !! However, sometimes u may get clients who slack off ~ not so much during the training part, but with their Nutrition !! Do u hv any tips for convincing clients on how to really stick to eating healthy !?!
I agree that results are absolutely essential and progressing at communicating and understanding what your client needs are so that they get their results, however I also believe being in shape and being fit is also very important in that you can lead by a good example as you stay active and in shape so you can help others. What do you think Nick? Ps love the Marbella concept.
A few months ago a guy asked you on Twitter for tips on getting into the fitness industry on. Your one word response was, "Don't." Would you elaborate on that? And doesn't that advice go against the advice you're giving in this video?
refreshingly no bullshit facts.

The results you get with a client are your biggest billboard especially in a commercial gym!

Great video as always.
The most important thing for client results? The trainer wanting it as much, if not more than the client does.
eye opener..... Thnx
