    I got one of those and I love it. I use it on my TT bike and I sit fairly near the nose but the cutaway does help with my delicate regions. I had been trying two different Adamo saddles but I found them rather wide (I'm only a little guy, 168cm) whereas this is just right for me in terms of width. I've also been doing most of my winter training on the turbo, and this has been quite comfortable for over 2 hours at a time.

    I've got 3 of these for 2 road bikes and a CX bike. The only saddle I've found that doesn't cost hundreds and doesn't give me saddle sores. The oldest one has been in use for 2 seasons averaging 6-7 hours a week and barely shows any signs of wear.

    Bought one for about 20 dollars on amazon about 2 years ago. Works a lot better for me than the large pile of expensive name brand saddles I went through all of which cost 3X or more.

      It's a very solid low cost option for sure! I've been riding it a bit more and am really digging it! My biggest complaint is that the rails are showing a bit of rust but I've moved the saddle around a bit so it might have more wear than normal.

    I just bought one of these. Have had 2 authentic Powers and both developed ridiculous creaking after about a year (I've had that problem with over 5 specialized saddles). The shell of these knock offs is EXTREMELY flexible. Haven't used it yet but I don't anticipate it lasting very long

      I wouldn't disagree but I haven't noticed any creaking on it! I did swap the EC90 Power for the EC90 Sitero TT saddle though, so it's been sidelined indefinitely. Really liking the TT saddle!

      I had the same issues with differents saddle and the only way i stop the cracking noise it was applying a little of locktite super glue in the ends of the rails and that should stop the noise , try first with the manufacturer to see if they have some warranty before you try the glue.

    So how does the EC90 ride compared to the Specy?

    • @mikenaus
      @mikenaus  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Steve, short answer pretty close, long answer is that it is a slightly different profile. Seems to be a bit more sloped like the power arc at the back vs the regular power. I also have been tinkering with the bike setup; it's not completely dialed just yet. I'll do a comparison video soon!

      @@mikenaus Thanks for the speedy reply! I just ordered one from Amazon after riding the Romin for years. I'm recovering from a broken femoral neck and I need a flatter (across the width) profile and larger platform for my sit bones and figured I'd give it a try. I look forward to the follow up!

      No, the brand is "EC90". But yes there's also a line of components from Easton with same moniker.

    Saddle still holding up?

    • @mikenaus
      @mikenaus  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely! It isn't my main saddle but it's very good for what I need it for. I do know there is another EC90 saddle that's similar but has a more vinyl-typecover on it, some reviews show it hasn't worn well.

      @@mikenaus The one that has plastic cross sections in the cutout? It seems to be 10mm wider and is also called EC90.
      Some reviews indeed claim that is bad quality.

      Hi, is this the one shown in the video or the lower quality you mentioned? I had one of these EC90s and it felt apart. There was enough flex that the top somehow separated from the rails, which made for a dicey ride home. It was surprisingly comfortable however, I lead me to try the new Fabric Line S - a similar short nose, wide, huge cutout saddle for $80. Not EC90 cheap, but still less than the Power Comp at $130.
