One thing about trio peaks Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, I have a different story than what you explained here and I once got to know it from a local in Grindelwald. The legend goes that Jungfrau who is the girl friend of Eiger is separated by Mönch who always stands in between and never allows both of them to meet. That is why Jungfrau has remained a virgin. The name Jungfrau actually means a virgin girl.
