I hope most people realize this as they age. Our age is not want makes us as a person. You can be happy if you live to be a hundred. It's how you look at life that keeps you young.
It won’t happen unfortunately - the producers want a younger man to take the franchise through the next several films. He may not look it, but at 50 years old he has aged out of contention. A real shame cause he’d be bloody fantastic.
It's a visually stunning film, the story is interesting, the storytelling process is masterful and the acting is top-notch. People should really seek it out on streaming.
This makes my heart light, chilled and relaxed, smiling and laughing with these two, its nice for me to hear an English accent too, I like the IGAF motto, and the more we can offer being mature, accepting and open Thank You Stephen and Idris, keep meeting up please ❤
He’s a gem! Just a genuinely good person and actor. I LOVED 3,000 Years of Longing! Both main characters were excellent, and the storyline was riveting.
I'm a 42 straight man.... this is one magnificent sexy man. His presence is so dominant and demands your attention when he's on screen... even off screen. To be a mate of his would be incredible. He is real and grounded.
@@seanemery6019 being masculine doesn't make you a real man - this is where toxic masculinity comes from and it's very warped and nonsensical. Most Asian men are not masculine - are they not 'real men' according to you?
Idris is not only good looking, a great actor, fit! He is funny, quick, seems fun to hang with, very grounded and wholesome. 50 looks very good on him! Whooo! ❤❤❤🥵 imma overheating now!!! Whoooo!
The first time I saw Idris Elba was as Stringer Bell in The Wire; he was amazing in that. Also, holy crap. He looks like he hasn't aged a day since then.
Please don’t wait until you’re 50 to say IDGAF, start early, as early as you can, once you’ve graduated university and can clearly show that at one point you did indeed GAF.
I think a lot about shedding that youthful stuff in your older years is that it allows for the opportunity for those more quality things to enter into your life - as when you're younger, you'll accept what you're given simply because you don't have anything to start with.
Oh my he is so handsome. Intelligent. And seems so classy. Certainly enough to be James Bond. Roger Moore was 45 to 51 when he played James Bond. Why not Idris Elba.
When Idris Elba made it big, I was like... hey, that's the guy from "Ultraviolet"! (seemingly little-known vampire miniseries that tried to take a real-world approach, but failed because it still included fantasy nonsense like "mirrors and cameras can't see them"). I liked him in that, and I am glad to see he has grown more visible and appreciated since it. I have only seen two of the other actors from it since then, and in small parts.
He’d be great but unfortunately he’s too old now for the Broccolis to consider. They want a younger man who can take the franchise through the next several films. It’s a real pity cause Idris would be immense.
We all know it's only Idris and Brad past 50 that looks gr8 especially Idris! Others just looks like grandpa's nearing death.. Well my dad is 58 and don't look his age either but looks in his late 40s
I've had to put the emergency services on speed dial before i watch this...... I'm having palpitations and flutters...... I can't..... he's too damn fine....
Has anyone seen This Morning interview with Idris and Alison Hammond,l couldn't believe how the interview went, after just seeing the Luther movie, and thinking it was WOW, Alison Hammond tells Idris that she had to turn it off, what a stupid comment, then asks him if his jacket is smelly, another totally stupid comment, there was so many intelligent questions she could have asked such an amazing actor💕
As a Nigerian I'm delighted to hear the intro music that was played for Idris, awesome stuff. That's our Fela Kuti, the pioneer of Afro beat... 😁😁😁
I love the music of Fela Kuti! The musicians are really on their game 👍🏼

What a beautiful man. Great actor and nice person.
3,000 years of longing was one of the most underrated stories in film in the last decade. So glad Colbert brought it up again to help promote it.
Such a great movie, I agree.
