The first two use some of the lowest amounts of meats and animal proteins, and they use a lot of fillers and corn. Most of these brands use more filler and then just charge more. This was disappointing

I mean, this video is one person's idea. Guess I will go read the bags. I am looking for high protein not cooked out!
Not to mention almost all of Science Diet foods (and a lot of the foods listed here) contain corn and wheat. Corn and corn meal turns straight into sugar. Even humans don't get much nutritional value out of corn, and our fur babies are no different.

Ingredients: water buffalo, pork, chicken meal, grain sorghum, millet, chicken fat, pearled barley, roasted bison, roasted venison, and more goodies for my girls. I'd also suggest Honest Kitchen if you can afford it. I used to feed my girls Honest Kitchen but going through 3 $90 bags a month got to be too expensive for me. I fed them the Whole Grain Beef & Oat Recipe which has less than 15 ingredients (not including vitamins and minerals) and all of them are proteins, veggies, fruits, whole grains and healthy fats.

i have a pug that is 9 years old and with no issue till a year later i started to give him those dentalsticks treats, now its been having seizers due to toxins in some dog food that these companies sell. i started to change dog food .hoping to find a more safer product.
I cook a pkg of fresh chicken Tenders everyday at 7.00 per day and kibble for vitamins and some fresh veg every few days … that is WAY more than Origen. My son uses Origen can and kibble and his dog likes it ( after trying more than we want to discuss ) and we are both right. Do as you can for your family. My pets always exceed their mortality averages and that is PRICELESS. Just do what you feel is right, because most dogs adapt.

My problem with Taste of The Wild is all the synthetic vitamins and minerals in the food. All those synthetics are sourced from China and you're hoping no one made a mistake with the measurements. I strongly believe that the vitamins and minerals should come from the food and not from add-ons

If your bag of dog food has all the vitamins and minerals listed after salt, the there is a very good chance the dog food manuifacture outsourced those supplements from China.

Most dog food manufacturer fast cook their kibble in high heat that eliminates all the nutritional value out of the ingredients and they need to supplement. Unforuntitly, Taste of the Wild, made by Diamond Pet Foods is one of those manufacturers with a history of recalls.

@@reynaldomeade9990 You always want to look at the ingredient panel on the back. The ingredients are listed from most to least and the rule is that after salt those ingredients only make up 2% of the food. You also want to look at how much synthetic minerals and vitamins are put into the food.

Two of the vets I have gone to have recommended Purina Pro Plan. It’s not cheap…$20 a small bag.
Of course pro plan is not cheap because vets are paid to recommend the crap product that just about killed my dog.
