You'll hear what I have to say and I'll be making more videos on my Whelen some time. There may have been some more details I may have over-looked or didn't realize.
My favorite is federal signal 2001 130 I wish I could buy one but I don't have the money my dream is to buy one if I had a 2001 130 I would be happy I might be going to west shore services this summer and I'm a really big tornado siren fan I know every tornado siren they make keep the videos coming man!.😊
2 weeks ago I saw a WSS utility truck in Ann Arbor, they pulled over next to a 2001-130 unit. I could see why they were down near me because the day before sirens went off for high velocity winds but also for an apparent funnel cloud sighting.
That Idk. I'm actually not one of those people that somehow can easily figure out which siren belonged to where and such. The only way I know is asking.
@@Ohio_FireGroundPhotographyah a fellow resident from Ohio. i'm wondering if they have any of columbus's there myself, i forgot there's a good chance they took them down within the past few years. I miss passing the one on Kenny Rd on my way to work.
I'm sure if they get wet for a bit, they should be fine but if they've been submerged in water for a long period of time, I don't see how they could still work.
Nice to see west shore services
That 864 is for a WPS-2750
The amplifier modules are different because they have one 400W output per amp instead of 4 100W outputs per amp

Try getting them used
My Whelen 2810 uses the same amps as the different looking amps you shown in this video.
19:09 Oh shit. That was close

The federal signal 2001 is a very popular siren siren

Man, it sucks that those 2 Analog Whelens in Brighton have been replaced. Hopefully they won't go for the Sterling 3VX downtown! 😨
That sd-10 looks very nice! Btw where’s the t121 from?

If I were to go to WSS to look around and/or possibly purchase a siren/parts would I need to call them first or is there someone at the place to ask?
I'm pretty sure you have to make an arrangement to go there
Fun
Glad I didn’t end up going there on the way back to OK lol
I will need to call tomorrow about the ACA penetrators
Do they have any 3rd Gen Allertors?
I haven't seen any recently.
19:06 this must be the reason why no one wants to touch it
I opened one of the old whelen panels once and saw a hornets nest (Prob bigger than my hand)
11:07 thats the blower i got
