Thank you so much , just to make it clear for me , pond either shallower so the sunlight can reach the bottom or contain pure water ( If I had any mistake explaining my understanding pls correct me as I'm learning english as well )
So if I jump in a mud puddle and effect the water clarity by disturbing the sediment, is it considered lake lake for a brief moment? Because that would make feel like a little divine.
A puddle would never be deep enough to have enough water to dissolve the amount of dirt required to create an atrophic zone. Even for an instant. You'd be surprised how deep light can penetrate through dirty water
People use to think because it was called a lake or a pond that they could swim across without drowning. With what was said here, a lake can be as deep as a river. Some are way too deep to swim in without safety jackets. That's why I had a friend that did that at a camp when I was a kid. We heard he and his cousin drowned thinking they could swim across a lake. They never recovered their bodies. I heard that during that time that lake was 75 feet deep.
Basically:- Pond:- Light reaches the bottom surface, making plant life possible there. Lake:- Light doesn't reach the bottom surface, making plant life impossible.
Peopl need to just stick with simple terms. Deep and wide means Lake. Visual and small means pond. Simple as that. No time for weirdos trying to make apples into oranges.
If only you stopped saying umm between your sentences and words, it would be much easier to listen to. It makes you sound like an old man. Also, you are making a youtube video, not a live presentation, so you should already know what to say without thinking.
A complex question answered with a very simple easy to understand explanation. Thanks for the mini lesson.
I had no clue but needed to know. Straight to the point. Thank you.
