I have a question. What about the massive lakes like Lake Erie, which are not deep enough to have can aphotic zone. Are they still considered lakes? If so, why?
The tips do work on all of the parts.
I had no clue but needed to know. Straight to the point. Thank you.
Had me until 65 lb braid with 25 lb leader
Hello, i'm new to your channel, this is the second video I watched after the video about distinguishing Pond and Lake I your America vibe so much😍😍
A complex question answered with a very simple easy to understand explanation. Thanks for the mini lesson.
Seems pretty thorough to me.
I got the pump to work on the back and seat. I used the skinniest attachment for the hose, pinched it, and slipped the nozzle past the opening. The second one i tried the same thing and i couldn't get the nozzle tip in the hole, but i could pinch it so the hole opened and made sure the nozzle side with the hole faced the opening. I held it here and used the pump. Still looking to see if there is an easier way, but this worked for me and i didn't have to blow it up with my mouth.
Lakes have other flows ponds dont. Rivers runs into lake and oceans. Ponds are just a body pf water with no outflows.
can you lean forward in this thing??? Is it wobbly..at all?
Most float tubes allow some forward leaning. Some may have a strap with a buckle latch system that connects the front of the seat between your legs to a cross bar that across the front on the float tube. All the float tubes that I have been on are very stable even in moderately choppy water. As you are leaning back in your seat and kicking in front of you, you move backwards. This helps even more qith the stability.
It’s more stable than a kayak suprisingly. Ever since I got my float tube it really has changed the game for me. I’m a minimalist and after 2 years of putting my big kayak on the roof of my car and having to do that process, the float tube is much easier.
I feel like an anchor (they make bag type ones that don’t weigh anything packed cuz you use water to weigh the bag) and a bug mesh suit or head peace if your in a area with a lot of mosquitoes. Where I live , this would be asking to get absolutely swarmed with no escape from mosquitos
Aphotic zone ✨
So what is the difference between a pond and marshland. A “pond” with thick algae and no movement is?
Basically:- Pond:- Light reaches the bottom surface, making plant life possible there. Lake:- Light doesn't reach the bottom surface, making plant life impossible.
Nice stuff budy
Wow this lake very deep Thanks for sharing Very good video
I bought two cheap ping pong paddles, drilled holes in the handles and tied @ 3 to 4 feet of paracord to them. I can hang them around my neck and they work well as paddles. I can also store them behind me with the cord still around my neck.
Peopl need to just stick with simple terms. Deep and wide means Lake. Visual and small means pond. Simple as that. No time for weirdos trying to make apples into oranges.
Is that the kit that comes with everything for under 200$
dang how much times did this dude say UM
Could make a drinking game out of it.
About 22 times.

Those inner bladders look like garbage bag plastic they don't look thick enough for my voyage rubber like car tubes would be the go. Maybe fill the bladders full of foam for permanent fixture no fail. ?
You can't help stupid hicks to not be stupid

Fins really make a big difference I dont use those types of fins I recommend body boarder fins there the best you can get for maneuvering and speed ive used them in the ocean with real currents for years they work even better in lakes
Is it easier to move against wind with a paddle? In that float? That specific float coma with a paddle now.
Different float tubes ride at different depths in and above the water. The round donut types mean that since you are a lot lower in the water, it is easier to move against the wind, however your general moving speed is way down than if your in a type that rides high on the water keeping you dry except for below the knees. I would imagine that having a paddle would help.
The floating live wells may work good for this. I think I’m sold on this float. Good review. Thumbs up just for the peeing explanation 😂
Why is golden pond call golden pond when it’s a lake in bayside
Idakekiys go here get it for $60 u.s. and get a trolling motor mount. Also get a fish finder mount.
You forgot to install the Boston valve black donut gasket before you install the Boston valve through the hole of the float tube. At the 7:16 mark.
Thanks Robert, a very concise video
good review!
If you use spray silicone on the air valves they will operate and seal much better.
If only you stopped saying umm between your sentences and words, it would be much easier to listen to. It makes you sound like an old man. Also, you are making a youtube video, not a live presentation, so you should already know what to say without thinking.
Go make your own video explaining the diffeence between a lake and pond. Most of us learned something today.
Im new to fishing and enjoyed your enthusiasm
Thanks for your vids...Im getting my float this weekend. Waders are on the way as some ponds i plan on hitting are full of leaches. Thankful for your one viewer that mentioned kick savers...that will be on my to buy list.
Real nice and funny walkthrough Robert! I picked one of these myself and waiting for it to arrive. Saw your follow up video too and love it. Hope you catch more fish on this float! Tightlines!
I just got a float tube myself and I'm looking forward to it opening up new fishing grounds. Thanks for the helpful info and tips.
Tip for inflating the cushions: Use the needlenose head for the pump. Shove it in all the way into the valve until it goes inside the crack that you normally pinch open when you blow it by mouth. Use one hand to hold the head and other hand to pump
did the back rest adjust for u once you were in the water?
you have to do any patch jobs on this since your purchase? are you happy with your buy?
Just got one for Christmas and my pump doesn't work at all lmao at least I have a battery powered pump
2:34 Thank you, you explained things so well~ like the way you talk is so chill and it just wasn't hard to understand :D
WHERES THE FISH I NEED IT I NEED IT
Great review! I currently fish from a kayak, seriously considering one of these for hands-free mobility and maneuvering and holding position against a breeze. For a stringer, I use a plastic mesh onion bag. Not incredibly durable, but the price is right!
I didn't know this.. thanks for the information.. 👍👍👍
I keep sliding out. I'm wondering if it's float air pressure or waders being slippery or air pressure in the cushions. Maybe the fins. Any ideas? Thanks, Cloyd
Good luck youll be famous in notime
17:02 just pinch them with one hand as you pump with the other
