Nahi shriman Jahan Tak mujhe gyat hai, Bhairav ne keval re aur dha komal swar lagte hai aur bhairavi me sabhi re ga dha ni komal lagte hai, Dono ka ambience bhi alag hai, Bhairav me ek thaharav aur shuchita hai, vahi bhairavi me man ko kisi bhi samay shant karna ka ek adbhut gun hai Isliye samanytah is raag ko ant me hi gaya bajaya jaata hai.
They are not only different raags but in fact different Thaats too, as explained by an earlier comment Bhairavi uses all Komal swaras. It’s also a raag heavily employed in semi classical and light music, on the contrary Bhairav is a fundamental Khayal melody with all its poise and grandeur exhibiting the typicality of purest classical training. Bhairavi is also lacks the nyaas aspect in the sense that one doesn’t usually rest on the notes to emphasize them, Bhairav again in stark contrast has an idiosyncratic emphasis on Re and Dha. Hence, the two raags are indeed not the same, rather they are as different as the can be. P.S.: Just for your indulgence, you can look up Raag Basant Mukhari, it’s a Carnatic derivative, that beautifully employs both Bhairav and Bhairavi elements in it.

No they are not. Bhairavi belongs to Bhairavi thaat. It's notes are similar to Carnatic Todi. But also it takes other notes.
They are completely different
