As a Londoner this makes me sad, central london used to be so good, I went there at least once a week, now I don't set foot in the center its awful and feels unsafe. also I really miss the shop Past Times that was a great shop and shutting the Trocadero (Sega World) was an utter tragedy.
The round circle thing looks like he forgot to take a lens off. I had a lens (can’t remember if it was for macro or telephoto) for my Chinon camera where, if I forgot to take it off, all the photos would auto-focus and expose properly but would have the same weird circle around the edges.
It's an Ultra Wideanlge add-on lens. Old(er) camcorders all lacked wideangle zooms - they generally started at 35-40mm. (That's one of their biggest disadvantages.) With those focal lengths, it's very hard to include as much in the frame as possible. Only semi-pro, considerably larger / heavier and much pricier models started at 28mm.
