Just a tip. The REAMP HP you don't need to send your signal mono to the R channel as you mentioned. This box the mono switch is meant to convert the stereo headphone signal to mono signal for reamping. So with the HP box all you need to do is solo your track and the box will automatically convert it to mono. There is nothing wrong with the way you did it but this box is supposed to save you the trouble.
Wow this is a new product I see. Came at a perfect time as I've been looking for a new reamping tool as of late. Thanks for posting this vid Euge! Love your channel. Please continue the great work. It doesn't go unnoticed!
Ev. Thank you for all information. Is pure gold. Very detailed and great descriptions. By the way. Every video has a lot of information. Cheers. Pd. Cyhra every time sounds better!!!!
I bought the signal art ang-re-amp. It can boost gain really high compared to other boxes like the radial active reamp box which I owned before. Have you tried it? I thought it sounded killer.
Thanks for the vid. My question is: Do I need the Reamp Station or similar box when recording the "dry"/DI signal to DAW without using real amp, just some plugin (for the reference)? When reamping later through the real amp I need to obviously use the Ream Station, but now I am just asking specificaly for the purpose of tracking the guitars.
You can record straight into the interface. The better the interface (AD/DA conversion - the better the quality of the sound) Just make sure the level is good (not too quiet and not clipping = red lights) 👌.
You don't need the reamp box no. You just need the DI box. You only need the reamp if you want to record real amps with a recorded DI track. This box is both a DI and Reamp box. So if you want just DI tracks for amp sims save yourself some cash and just get a DI box. Most usb interfaces have a HI-Z input button that does the same thing though so you might already be good.
You`ve gathered many skills, an awesome guitar player, mixing engineering, a nice personality, and a good teacher!
Thanks!
Sounds awesome dude! Excited for the upcoming album!
Thanks man!

Glad it was helpful! Thanks!
Radial Shotgun and Twin City AB&Y Box. Looking at the Cab Link. You never go wrong with Radial Products.
I finally got the TSL100, and am using a PS1 Powesoaker - sound is heaven! Also discovered my old Ableton Live 10 Suite, so happy daze 🎉
Cool!
Great video boss 👍🏼
Thanks!

Cool! No I haven’t. I always used Radial stuff 👌.
Regarding the Lift switch, could it be some phase cancellation of some sort?

Hey Euge! What are you using instead of Cubase these days? Or are you no longer having the problems you mentioned before? Cool T-shirt btw
Logic Pro X. But I still use Cubase too. Depending on the project.
So, this little thingy eliminates the need to have an actual DI box? 😎
This is a DI Box and it’s not that little since it also has a reamp box.
Great info! Thank Euge!
Glad to hear! Thanks!
Great vid! How does the DI in the reamp station compare to the j48?
I'm tossing up whether to get a j48 and JCR or getting the reamp station.
Thanks
It’s that and the JCR in one housing 👌.
@@EugeValovirta230V that's awesome! Thank you
15:05 I’m SOLD !!
👌🤟
Greetings from Vietnam Euge! A quick question. What monitors are you using now? Thanks
Thanks! Yamaha HS8s with the matching sub.
Thank you very much!
I can't even AMP like a pro.... let alone RE-AMP like a pro. 😆
😁🤟
