SOUTHWICK-ON-WEAR IN 1999

This video was taken in 1999 to record Southwick scenes in the last year of the 20th century and indeed the last year of the millennium. The film lasts for 15 minutes and features: Southwick riverside and the limekilns, The Southwick Bottleworks site, bottleworks spoil heap, and annealing kilns, Pottery Lane that led from the tenements of Low Southwick to the potteries. There are also scenes of Southwick Green and inside of The Sun Inn pub, and a bus ride through Southwick.
