    I think this was filmed by my mates dad Kenny Barnes , he was one of the loco drivers.
    I lived in Easington until my late teens.
    My uncle Billy showed this to me on a copy of the original vhs.

    what a wonderfull video.i use to be a loco driver at a yorkshire pit before it closed in 1992.see the vid by alan surtees for my comments please.thank you for posing.

      Hi mate, could you tell me how many miles of rail there were roughly, like could you do a 2 hour trip or was it smaller? Ive always been fascinated by when i hear miners talk of districts also how many loco drivers were there on a shift? Thanks in advance.
