You would find plenty to do there. Just take your time and explore the place. I would recommend going with someone or joining up with others there that have similar vehicles to yours. There are a lots of groups that organize trips out there and have first timer events.
I wouldn't be surprised at all! Majority of people in the off road community are great people looking to share and help others in the community. Check out some of the local Facebook groups like the Soft Roaders and such. There are typically small groups of people going out there every weekend you could get in with.
