I just installed the tri oval on my Ktm 1190 adventure r and love the sound without the baffle.still to cold to go out in New York to try it out but I like the looks of it , nice looking slip on..I was kind of nervous buying such a inexpensive pipe but decided to try it. Hope it holds up..as far as this young mans riding, please do yourself and family a favor and slow down and develop your riding skills.
there's always a difference with and without the db killer , always best to have a dyno and rejet , to have it tweaked , sounds lovely the mutts nuts 👍👍😁😁🏍💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨
Popping is usually caused either by an air leak into the exhaust through the joints or at the header/cylinder head joint gasket. (just stop the leaks and you're done!) Or another cause might be a slightly rich fuel mix at idle letting unburned fuel into the headers when the throttles are closed on the overrun, where it accumulates and ignites causing the popping.
I was asking about your bike. I noticed it popping a good bit after changing the muffler. Was just curious if you solved that or was it possibly a popping distortion created by the camera attempting to pick up louder sounds?
Old post but these bikes pop bad until you remove the pairs emissions system that injects air into the exhaust ports. All that popping is caused by the unburned fuel being mixed with air in the header and burning off in the muffler.
Looks like it's the 450mm version which in theory is the quietest one Delkevic make. £134.99 & £10p+p for addresses in the UK. 1yr warranty. I've just ordered one.
I've heard that mentioned on forums too. Only a couple of dB louder without the dB killer fitted. More noticeable is the deeper sound rather than increased noise.
this is how you do an exhaust comparison. PERFECT.
excellent video. good to see what it sounds like in comparison to standard

A little louder. 3-6 db louder it seems.
any major differences between them? dyno tested?
Seems like lots of popping with the Delkevic. Did you get rid of that?

sounds awful without db killer...did YOU get rid of popping?

I love a little bit o pop when you back off real quick, but that's far too much. Much nicer tone with the baffle.

I can hear the Walmart popcorn maker in the background must be getting ready to go to the movies
Is that the 350mm?

urbanfireblade so how does it compare to stock?
DB killer then no DB killer!... there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference!
Probably the cameras compensating sound levels.

are you kiddin me?
