    Great lesson, I'll be working on this for sure. One of the first songs I learned was East Tenn. Blues (C) so this will be a great addition to the list.

    The slides are played as slides because that's what they are, not due to a lack of ability to articulate individual notes in a chromatic scale between point A and point B. It is the suggestion of a phrase, an impressionistic approach to music. Dude...
