Awesome job Rax! I’ve always been a barb, and I hated the Raekor HOTA gameplay style but that was the only choice for several seasons to go above GR100 for me anyway. I love the WW barb!

(reason: I have rolled great ancient neck but with +20% fire DMG, not physical or lightning for two normally used runes - Lacerate or Bloodbath) 2. When a pylon is spawned for me during GR - is it really random type of pylon? All types of pylons have same chance to be spawned? Thank you in advance for your answer and help.
Hey Honza, I would not use the fire rune, it should be either bloodbath or lacerate or you're using a lot of damage. Yes, the pylon spawns are truly random, no way to manipulate them unfortunately :(

Hi Benjamin, Eggman is truly a great player (capable of Rank 1 on his own), but unfortunately he used an exploit to get these clears. I suspect he'll be removed from the leaderboards shortly
Solid strategies. Sometimes I get a little bored when pushing kind of grinds to halt with progress, but I forget there is a ton of strategy like this to utilize to push way higher.
You probbably will not see this but, I am a casual player of d3 almost since the beginning, you are in my mind, the top current person playing. , I am almost 68 yrs old and plat for relaxation and make small goals for myself. You explanations are quite clear. I have played with many botters, and bliz used to do ban waves every so often, not anymore sadly. Sorry, point is you are a great, talanted player, accusers are jealous people only, sour grapes. Big thumbs up to you man.

With these Solo pushes, are you using the same character the whole way to GR 138? Or do you play the character as part of a team to level up your Augments and gems?
Raxxanterax I guess that’s why I ask. I’m a truely Solo player and I look at your gem levels and think “how did you get your gem to 130+?”. Is there a break point in the % or chance of gem upgrade when it’s at 1%? And seeing as you get a boost from being in a team is this truely the capability of a solo push?
Hey Raxx, how do you explode all these mobs up to 100 kills? You just hitting and when some are low you cast rend manually? I don't see this clearly in video and wonder how do you kill all these elites that quick. I am killing elites in 120 so long and the "exploding mobs" don't seem to do any damage to elites. I struggle with 120 but done 119 in 9:54 with crimson alternative.
I rely on clearing little mobs to trigger the seasonal bonus to kill everything. The 50 kill streak does MASSIVE damage to a group. The 100 kill streak is the tornados which can be quite good, and then of course the mega bomb is the 150 geysers. All I'm doing is killing little trash to trigger the bonuses.
So basically I shouldn't rely on my dps, group mega packs as you do, and use the seasonal bonuses of 50, 100 and 150 kills, every time losing stacks right? If so I'm gonna probably change my gear to standard 6 pieces wastes without crimson and try it then.

Please don't bash, I play on xbox1. I cubed anbos pride and lamentation. I predominantly use whirlwind, warcry and wrath of the berserker. Weapons are bul kathos set. I'm getting killed on average 6 times per grift 70. I still complete the grift but it's disheartening. I know I need to reroll weapons but I only have 1 and am waiting for a 2nd to reroll. Any suggestions?
Do you use band of might + either stomp or furious charge? That is 80% damage reduction. It's the main thing keeping me alive. Also if you take mortiks brace bracers with wrath of the berserker, that's another 50% damage reduction. Does that help?
Nice job 👍 quick question regarding the meta: how the hell can you run gr120+ in a group without lags???? I've no words for that, it is completely impossible, the game is totally frozen at these lvls, that really sucks 😠. Cheers

Yo rax! Question. 1. Every manual of rend it will automatically cast the Area Damage? 2. i will manually use rend when physical cycle of coe. does it applied the coe physical + area damage combine on Area Damage? Because if yes, i think i will reroll my stats to area damage.
Every cast of rend has a 20% chance to cause area damage (it's always 20% with any skill in the game). And yes, it benefits from all the buffs. It's a big damage increase if you're willing to manually rend

where does all your sustain come from? ok you got 2400+ paragon, but with 1000 paragon and all ancient gear, I'm struggling to keep my health full in GR116...think im missing something?
@@Raxxanterax , I'm using Swords to ploughshares so im gonna try the Nerves of Steel passive instead of something else, and maybe try out Aquila in cube instead of Channeling shoulders...Also the fact that im using Warcry..and you have Ancient Spear..you should have less sustain. Can't really make out where the soft spot is for the survivability in higher GR (its not the Paragon points cause u dont put any points in VIT, i put 100 points in VIT) I also noticed your follower isnt using all of his skills...mind sharing a bit more about that? ;-)
Why do you think its better? I guess you would have to drop the burst damage from convention of the elements for sustainable damage addition from crimson set. Also the survivability might help a lot, since the damage is no issue in this build.

T-Bozez - Bluddshed and JAKEL33T are other YT Diablo contributors and i know they both have some vids on augmenting. The vids might be from older seasons but it doesn’t really matter because augmenting is still the same process since it was added to the game and all the info is still accurate. There’s a couple different strategies to go about doing it. Some people like to augment their ancient gear ASAP with the lowest level gem requirement to augment, so level 30 gems for weapons and off-hands, level 40 gems for rings and amulets, and level 50 gems for all armor. Personally, I think doing that is a waste of time. Another strategy is to not augment anything until you can get your gems up to like level 80, 90 or 100. Some people like to save their level 80-100 gems until they have a full round of augments ready, so one leveled up gem for each piece of ancient gear, 13 total if you have all ancient items. Again, just personally, I don’t have the patience or desire to do that and I just level a gem to 100, go augment. Level another gem to 100, go augment. And just keep doing that until I have a full round of augments on every item. From what I understand after some decently thorough research, you should have about +20 levels on your next round of augments. In my opinion that makes level 90 a pretty nice place to start for the first round and then 110 for the second. This season I decided to wait until 100 for the first round of augments and then plan for 120 for the second, but I’m not so sure that second round of 13 gems to 120 won’t be a little tiresome if I can’t clear the higher end GRs 110-120 in under 7-8 minutes.

Are the shoulders bugged? Because the buff should last 3sec after doing whirlwind so you shouldnt be any less fragile aslong you do cast it every 3sec... Even in the death you still had the buff.
what is the gear you use, like occulus ring? Where meteor shower coming from? weapons? In a video before you said Ambro's Pride does not apply rend, huh? So what did you cube? I'm at 990 para and still doing 105's if I can. I don't use spear cuz warcry gives me fury and seems only mobs do, so the spear I was testing and died instantly. And I must say, you do run fast and that would sacrife half your main skills attributes in set pieces and , etc. And wings don't make you fly. Now I know your almost 3000 para (who has that time?) so your only options are to put in str. and vit., but you're walking through them as I see. Heartbreak video you put up I saw u in gr 150 and didn't understand it at all.
Hi John, I'm using my exact same build from the WW solo guide. The only slight difference is I rolled area damage on some pieces and manually casted rend sometimes. Other than that its exactly the same. The heartbreak video was just showing how the angels could die in 1 hit to anything, a frozen spawned directly below them and killed them all instantly
I've noticed some lag with my barb when there are many enemies, I've heard that is the working of area damage. should I try to remove all my area damage to hopefully get rid of lag?
I've been struggling to clear 124, looking for this type of open map, but only getting caves and keeps. I wish they would just take these terrible maps out of the rotation to reduce fishing.
well i like my barb, its fun, sadly not gotten all the right stuff yet, plus some bad ancients (more than 1 stats not really useable.) but ive cleared 106 solo so fare. with the other 2 weapons, ive had zero luck getting the others as ancients :/ plus i cant find a party, just me and 1-2 friends do some vaults and rifts together sometimes. (not perfect since we are 2 barbs and a monk i guess.)
Afrer 150 kills +-, if you stop the chain and start again, you probably reach 500 kills on RG. With seasonal Buff it's obvius that solo 150 is possible. Just need a little bit of fishing and luck with Angels

What I honestly think it is Jarred, is some people sub to me who don't like me (usually because I "wear a hood indoors"), and the second I release a video and they're notified, they instantly dislike it. The reason is is I usually get the dislikes right away, then they trail off. Not sure what I ever did to anyone to make them do that, but oh well, I'll focus on the nice people rather than them
One thing forgot to mention. Pay no attention to those people who accuses you in cheating like turbo hud etc. They are cause to getting vyr nerfed, and what did we get? Sader and barb much stronger. Now they are going to nag about these, because they are just too stupid to play and figure out the strategies, to get full seasonal buff to their use. Jolousy is not a good thing. Wish my sader had .50 cal.
First off, I don't care if you use TurboHUD. It does make the game easier, but it's not like you just turn on TurboHUD and the game autoclears GR150. Second, you constantly stream on Twitch and publish TH-cam videos. Exactly how could you possibly be using TurboHUD when it is obvious you're broadcasting vanilla? I've taken your Diablo advice since you started publishing, take mine (or really Joe Rogan's) when it comes to negative comments. Ignore or don't even read the negative comments. There are people who are hurting and if they can make somebody else hurt, or even get a public figure to acknowledge them then they've won some sick little game in their heads. I wouldn't play that game with them, and you certainly don't need to defend yourself during your rank 3 commentary -- especially when it is obvious you're playing completely vanilla -- hell, you don't even have the big pink cursor!

What is your setup on your wwrend barb? I'm Para lvl 950 and can't seem to clear past 100 without dying really fast.

Kris VC by far the biggest sustain is battle rage sword to ploughshares

Sure, run in and stomp for some intial fury, then use the wind shear rune on whirlwind as you hit monsters. that's how I always have full fury!

Crimson is a decent alternative, but I think this set up is slightly better. Play whichever one works better for you!

T-Bozez - Bluddshed and JAKEL33T are other YT Diablo contributors and i know they both have some vids on augmenting. The vids might be from older seasons but it doesn’t really matter because augmenting is still the same process since it was added to the game and all the info is still accurate. There’s a couple different strategies to go about doing it. Some people like to augment their ancient gear ASAP with the lowest level gem requirement to augment, so level 30 gems for weapons and off-hands, level 40 gems for rings and amulets, and level 50 gems for all armor. Personally, I think doing that is a waste of time. Another strategy is to not augment anything until you can get your gems up to like level 80, 90 or 100. Some people like to save their level 80-100 gems until they have a full round of augments ready, so one leveled up gem for each piece of ancient gear, 13 total if you have all ancient items. Again, just personally, I don’t have the patience or desire to do that and I just level a gem to 100, go augment. Level another gem to 100, go augment. And just keep doing that until I have a full round of augments on every item. From what I understand after some decently thorough research, you should have about +20 levels on your next round of augments. In my opinion that makes level 90 a pretty nice place to start for the first round and then 110 for the second. This season I decided to wait until 100 for the first round of augments and then plan for 120 for the second, but I’m not so sure that second round of 13 gems to 120 won’t be a little tiresome if I can’t clear the higher end GRs 110-120 in under 7-8 minutes.

Are the shoulders bugged? Because the buff should last 3sec after doing whirlwind so you shouldnt be any less fragile aslong you do cast it every 3sec... Even in the death you still had the buff.
Spoteddy I was under the impression that it fell off immediately after you stopped channeling, I could be wrong though
@@Raxxanterax Ahh yes, I was confused with the 4set bonus, that lasts 3sec after stopping. The shoulders are only during the channel.
what is the gear you use, like occulus ring? Where meteor shower coming from? weapons? In a video before you said Ambro's Pride does not apply rend, huh? So what did you cube? I'm at 990 para and still doing 105's if I can. I don't use spear cuz warcry gives me fury and seems only mobs do, so the spear I was testing and died instantly. And I must say, you do run fast and that would sacrife half your main skills attributes in set pieces and , etc. And wings don't make you fly. Now I know your almost 3000 para (who has that time?) so your only options are to put in str. and vit., but you're walking through them as I see. Heartbreak video you put up I saw u in gr 150 and didn't understand it at all.
Hi John, I'm using my exact same build from the WW solo guide. The only slight difference is I rolled area damage on some pieces and manually casted rend sometimes. Other than that its exactly the same. The heartbreak video was just showing how the angels could die in 1 hit to anything, a frozen spawned directly below them and killed them all instantly

I've noticed some lag with my barb when there are many enemies, I've heard that is the working of area damage. should I try to remove all my area damage to hopefully get rid of lag?
Area damage + rend = lag

well i like my barb, its fun, sadly not gotten all the right stuff yet, plus some bad ancients (more than 1 stats not really useable.) but ive cleared 106 solo so fare. with the other 2 weapons, ive had zero luck getting the others as ancients :/
plus i cant find a party, just me and 1-2 friends do some vaults and rifts together sometimes. (not perfect since we are 2 barbs and a monk i guess.)

Afrer 150 kills +-, if you stop the chain and start again, you probably reach 500 kills on RG.
With seasonal Buff it's obvius that solo 150 is possible. Just need a little bit of fishing and luck with Angels

Manually cast rend -> applies area damage, but is more dangerous and lags the game

What I honestly think it is Jarred, is some people sub to me who don't like me (usually because I "wear a hood indoors"), and the second I release a video and they're notified, they instantly dislike it. The reason is is I usually get the dislikes right away, then they trail off. Not sure what I ever did to anyone to make them do that, but oh well, I'll focus on the nice people rather than them

One thing forgot to mention. Pay no attention to those people who accuses you in cheating like turbo hud etc. They are cause to getting vyr nerfed, and what did we get? Sader and barb much stronger. First off, I don't care if you use TurboHUD. It does make the game easier, but it's not like you just turn on TurboHUD and the game autoclears GR150. Second, you constantly stream on Twitch and publish TH-cam videos. Exactly how could you possibly be using TurboHUD when it is obvious you're broadcasting vanilla? I've taken your Diablo advice since you started publishing, take mine (or really Joe Rogan's) when it comes to negative comments. Ignore or don't even read the negative comments. There are people who are hurting and if they can make somebody else hurt, or even get a public figure to acknowledge them then they've won some sick little game in their heads. I wouldn't play that game with them, and you certainly don't need to defend yourself during your rank 3 commentary -- especially when it is obvious you're playing completely vanilla -- hell, you don't even have the big pink cursor!
