This car was designed by the legendary Mercedes designer, Bruno Sacco. All the best Benz cars, such as the W126 and R129 were also designed by him. He was originally from Italy but worked all his life for Mercedes Benz in Germany. There was another model in the W140 lineup, it was the S420. Also, the best part of this car was the fully automatic retractable sun shade in the rear windshield. FYI, The W140 600 SEL/S600 V12 was super fast.
