Electric car charging is also an issue in the midwest USA and even in some big cities. I ran out trying to find an open charger on a Sunday on my last visit to Dallas. I was driving Polestar 2.
However, the new BMW IX 50i is really awesome. I like it better than etron or Tesla.
If I had a choice I'll choose either the iX or the Lotus Electra as the latter has a soul of a sports car wrapped in a Uber cool looking EV SUV

I havent put a single drop in my 530e's tank from last 6 months. Its just phenomenal if your most round trip distance is less than the mileage on a full charge.
But then in winters or in extreme weather conditions the battery mileage tends to be half.
And on highways car gives 17km/l.
That's really impressive i always thought that the average would go down to around 8-9 on highways...

They are powered by twin turbochargers which is what makes them more gas efficient
btw modern f1 cars have only 1.6 litres engine although that's a state of the art engine with thermal efficiency up to 50 percent.

I think BMW parent group is Volkswagen, world no. 1. Hybrid in affordable range launched in India by Toyata in collaboration with Suzuki. Heard that Honda has better hybrid technology, but couldn't understand why not launched in India. Now Honda is legging behind despite ruled India in sedan for long.
