- That's right we are scratch building some Warhammer Age of Sigmar gyro-coptas out of the worst thing of all time: Games Workshop Paint Pots. I'll also show you how to re bottle citadel paints into drop bottles - get rid of those darn pots!

I was his partner for this doubles tournament. Can confirm that we realized his list was not legal a couple days before the tournament. Luckily it led to these really cool models being built in the final hours.
Kinda glad I can't count =] they really pulled their weight that weekend
@@CCMinis all steam tanks would have been fun, but having those copters added a lot of flexibility. Not to mention the added cool factor.

Nice and crafty 👍 my only experience with gouache involved it easily rubbing off when after drying. Do you seal the final paintjob?
Sometimes I do if I have a bunch of painting left, but usually I dont. it doesnt fall off nearly as much as the pigment powders ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So you said these were for a Tournament. so is it actually legal to bring scratch builds to a tournament? I want to know cause I've been starting to get interested in warhammer and was also wanting to do some scratch builds myself.
Most of the time yes! Definitely check with the tournament organizer before hand tho, some are cool with it while others aren't
The only big issue is with GW sanctioned events, for those tournaments or in a GW store they only allow GW models - but that is the minority

I think these were Windsor and fig Newton, but really any water color gouache should work just as well
