What a masterpiece. The review was long but certainly for good reasons. There is such fine detailing and background and referencing to learn of - it amazes the viewer. What comes out clearly is the passion of Devendra Singh ji, its proud owner who has nurtured and cared for this oldie like a baby. I have seen some of the accessorization for the very first time. Timelessly preserved to perfection. Awesome, in true sense. Thank you Raashid Ali and Ajay Raj Singh for bringing it to all of us.

This jeep's pristine & original condition is comparable with those kept at smithsonian museum. But what was more impressive is the owner's pure love for the machine. Totally touched my heart! 😍 Whole 25 mins, didn't even skip a second. It was that engaging. Pls make more such videos that express man/machine love affair 😀🙏

Its actually a FORD GPW although having said that, there is hardly any difference between a Ford GPW and a Willys MB. Hats off to Devendra Singhji. Coming to your question on the price - as the saying goes "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder". Meaning the range is so vast depending on so many variables - these old beauties like this one actually very rare. So in my view and its purely mine - the last sale of a Willys MB "ORIGINAL" which featured on the channel was for Rs. 23 lacs, this one coz Ford only manufactured from 1942 to 1945, would be fairly higher. Thanks for your generous compliments - the credit however goes to the restorer Devendra Singhji, who's done an absolutely fabulous job of putting this GPW together. The price depends on the condition - a basic MB or Ford today that has been modified and parts changed etc. would be around Rs 6 lacs, a fairly original with a modified engine will be around 9-12 lacs. The actual restored ones - the last MB that sold went for approx. Rs. 23 lacs.

This Jeep is fantastic, although I have Kaiser M38A1C round fender which is in good condition, but really I love Willys flat fender GPW or MB these jeeps are small beautiful and have low center of gravity and roll over angel which makes them safe for off-road driving..

Sir there are many - it all depends on what you want. The so called originals have now become extremely expensive. If you let me know your requirements - I can get the word out or connect you directly with a seller. Thanks for watching and please do continue to watch and share
There are actually many theories Sir - coming to the GPW which Ford used here is what is actually stood for:- The designation “GPW” breaks out as follows: “G” is “Government,” “P” represents “80-inch wheelbase reconnaissance” and “W” for “Willy's” as they were the designers of the original blueprints on which the jeeps were based. Coming to why people thought that GP stood for General purpose - Its another interesting theory that the name “Jeep” came from the Ford GP (general purpose.) These GP vehicles were Ford’s early military models and even sound close to the word “jeep.” However, GP did not stand for “general purpose.” Another popular one is "Popeye and Eugene The Jeep" - this theory has become very popular, which is that the name Jeep is America’s favorite spinach-eating sailor, Popeye. In the E.C. Segar’s Thimble Theatre comics with Popeye and Olive Oyl, there’s a pet named Eugene the Jeep. Eugene is a cat and dog hybrid with a large round nose. Eugene’s character is known to “go anywhere and do anything,” which is ironically Jeep’s motto for their vehicles. This theory points to the possibility that many soldiers fighting in WWII could have been fans of Popeye and his pet, Eugene the Jeep. Possibly, these soldiers picked up the name and the motto of going anywhere and doing anything from Eugene the Jeep. Lastly - This theory has been around for a while, claiming that the Jeep abbreviation stands for “Just Enough Essential Parts.” Even Wranglers are known for their more than enough essential parts. Although this theory may be the least likely genuine, it still reflects what Jeep is made of today. So Net Net Conclusion - Most of these theories revolve around Jeep’s military history, which makes it even more special. We may never know how Jeep got its name, but it’s clear that Jeep has always stood for “adventure and capability.” More importantly - glad you liked the video and all credit to the restorer Devendra Singhji, who's done an absolutely fabulous job of putting this GPW together. Thanks for watching and please do subscribe and continue to watch and share.

Thanks for your query - I will have to check if anyone is selling an old GPW or MB. I just love these age-old beauties but will find out for you.
Love the video , excellent ! Any idea how much does it cost to buy Willys MB or Ford GPW in india ?
Thanks for your generous compliments - the credit however goes to the restorer Devendra Singhji, who's done an absolutely fabulous job of putting this GPW together. The price depends on the condition - a basic MB or Ford today that has been modified and parts changed etc. would be around Rs 6 lacs, a fairly original with a modified engine will be around 9-12 lacs. The actual restored ones - the last MB that sold went for approx. Rs. 23 lacs.
Interested in buying this vintage beauty kindly update me if it is for sale..
I could ask for you - normally these personal collections are not for sale
It would be very helpful to me in restoring my cj3b jeep
As i mentioned coming your way and probably the best restored CJ 3B's. They are both absolute beauties. Thank you for watching and please do continue to watch and share
This Jeep is fantastic, although I have Kaiser M38A1C round fender which is in good condition, but really I love Willys flat fender GPW or MB these jeeps are small beautiful and have low center of gravity and roll over angel which makes them safe for off-road driving..
All have their own charm, the GPWs, the MBs, the CJ 2 and 3As. The Kaiser M38A 1C is very rare
How many cost this jeep
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. I never inquire about the price of the car.

The G.P. originally stood for “General Purpose”. That’s where the name “Jeep” derived from.
Coming to why people thought that GP stood for General purpose - Its another interesting theory that the name “Jeep” came from the Ford GP (general purpose.) These GP vehicles were Ford’s early military models and even sound close to the word “jeep.” However, GP did not stand for “general purpose.”
Another popular one is "Popeye and Eugene The Jeep" - this theory has become very popular, which is that the name Jeep is America’s favorite spinach-eating sailor, Popeye.
We may never know how Jeep got its name, but it’s clear that Jeep has always stood for “adventure and capability.”
More importantly - glad you liked the video and all credit to the restorer Devendra Singhji, who's done an absolutely fabulous job of putting this GPW together. Thanks for watching and please do subscribe and continue to watch and share.
