AWESOME FOOTAGE! This is the very 1st time I've ever seen or heard Thomas Edison on video! Thank you for the wonderful share!
beautiful
Interviewer: "What do you think of Einstein's theory of light Mr. Edison"
Edison : "I don't think much of it, as I don't really understand any of it "
After reading Einstein's biography and him trying to explain the theory of quantum light and photons, this had me dying in laughter as I felt the same exact way.
“I can’t understand it!” So funny and also love the humility of such a genius
He was no genius. He was a thief.
@@SnapBackToMeStop licking Tesla's boots
@@SnapBackToMeHe literally invented the phonograph laying the foundations for modern recording technology.
Humility was something he never had. Sure he did invent lots of things but he definitely was not a good person. America should be ashamed of yourself for abandoning Nikola Tesla. One of the greatest minds greater than Thomas Edison
😂😂😂😂
Amazing footage incredible
I love these early recordings. It really highlights that these people from history weren’t just figures, but were really people
this is just piece of history thank you for this beautiful video
If he couldn't understand Einstein theory 🤔 how can I?
Hehehe!
😂
What a sad sack of human waste, I feel sorry for your mother.
I mean you've had 100 years more to understand it. Also people much smarter than you or I have been explaining in easier to understand terms to people who then explain it in even easier to understand terms to more people etc. Theres plenty of videos on TH-cam that I'm sure could explain it to your level of understanding

This is incredible!
Mexican Tomas Alva Edison, was born in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico. Here we can hear his Spanish accent in English. Nice video👍🏻
Bull !!! What a contrived story !! My cousin ( Anna Osterhout ) married Thomas Edisons youngest son ( Theodore Edison ) and there is certainly no truth to the exclamation that he was "Mexican".. You are a complete idiot !! You must have assumed there would be no "Edison relatives" to "Call you out" on your nonsense..
This video deserves a lot more views (a few million I mean...)
What do you think of far cry 6?
and what do you think of nvidias 3000 graphics cards for gaming pcs being raised up too high in price because of bitcoin miners?
Edison: wat
Is there a Nvidia GPU's architecture named after him?
From this clip, we could see that he was full of optimism, humor and curiosity. Typical Edison.
How great you are, Edison. Literally follow the saying of Francis Drake. Greatness is the death of small beginnings. This is the legendary mind.
Youth at 84. That’s well stated.
Big man who changed history. Thanks sir! Without u, maybe now i spend the whole night with candle's light
That dude stoled the light bulb
Nikola Tesla was the king
My god, people
Stop being so bootlick to Nikolas Tesla
Edison also was important
I’m delighted that he said “Einstein” in its correct German pronunciation as oppose to the English one (with a “sh” like “shower”, not an “s” like “stone”).
I farted on you.
Probably just audio quality
He's American, that's how you'd expect it to be pronounced here.
Почему то не сохранились видео с настоящим величайшим гением Николой Тесла... очень жаль
Great man, great entrepreneur, quintessential American
Mexican
His dad was Canadian which is why Edison sounds Canadian/British.
Samuel Alba was his dad Mexican !!!

What a "Load Of Crap"... Thomas Edison was not "Mexican"... My cousin ( Anna Osterhout ) married his youngest son ( Theodore Edison ). You are spewing this nonsense thinking that nobody would "Call you out on it "... Well I am a relative and know that you are a complete idiot !!!
Sounds like Feynman!

F*ck yes! this is why Mr Edison is my fav inventor. he was a down to earth guy with great ideas and trail and error was his way.
More like trail of terror. What a fool
@Maxine Jyellee i was pretty drunk when i wrote that, im impressed that was my only error. its mostly the sound recording aspect i admire the most. that was his invention regardless of similar ideas in the past. From the invention of sound recording came magnetic tape, from magnetic tape we got video, from video we got data storage, from data storage we got the internet. Thanks to him we are having this argument right now. without him who knows? :D arguing about who was a better dead inventor is my fav thing anyway. :D

@@znoch7015 not humble in any way, ruthless and savvy. If we didnt have him we would not have music as we know it, no data and video because it was the invention of sound recording and playback that lead to all those things.

Is he deaf? sorry
Edison started going deaf at 12 years old, possibly by Scarlet Fever or being lifted by his ears during a moment of abuse.
@@gregoryyoung8819 that probably was a lie I think he had trouble understanding English at a young age and would be late to respond or would hear words, his first language was Spanish
@@migueljmartinez1108 he doesn't seem to have an accent when he's speaking though, talks like an old Anglo in an nursing home.
He was born in Ohio and grew up in Michigan. The Midwestern accent is to be expected. I'm not sure where that Spanish suggestion came from. His mother was from New York and his father was a Canadian of Dutch ancestry.
