Growth and character development are insane in this play. Also, the animation and voice acting holy shit.

This was hands down my favorite episode this season if not of the whole series. I loved Aqua’s advice too. I hope we can see him grow as a full actor as the series progresses! I can’t believe they got this invested in him when I thought he was a one off !!!!

To me, THIS is when i know a series is really good (i mean, i won't enter details of future arcs OR the current one). When they care so much about a side character that their arc and development is so freaking good....bro...the day arrived when we are ACTUALLY rooting for Melt and even getting emotional over this man. 11/10 ep easily, IF NOT the best of the season till now.
I didn't expect an episode all for Melt in a million years, it was really epic tho. I think other shows would've forgotten his character by this point or keep him the same, the author really did a lot of planning to set up his character so far back and it really paid off!
Now next episode I really want to see how can Aqua top that performance and also how the show its gonna make it even more epic!!
Regarding the Dad I still keep my theory that its gonna be an A tier actor or somebody with a high rank in some acting company... Maybe there's a chance that he got famous overseas? And returned to Japan for a job. That way it can complicated things for Aqua to get close or make it that he has to get more famous as an actor to get closer... After all he should be the final boss of the series, and I doubt somebody ordinary caught Ai eyes.
ep8 will be the highlight of the season.
melt's episode made my expectation rising thru the roof rn.
if they fail to deliver ep8, it's ruined. the whole season will be ruined for me personally
