Thanks so much! You just made my day!
Another great tutorial, Kim. Thank you for making using this intimidating machine easy to use. 😊
You are very welcome! Thanks for practicing what you learn Deborah.
Caught you on replay. Great examples! Always love your projects
Thanks so much Kim. I’m glad you liked this tutorial.
I sure would buy a few mats from you… love your channel.. hugss
Great tips!Thanks for the video!
Great instructions - again- Kimberley. I save all your ScanNCut videos n a dedicated playlist so I can refer back to them quickly. I was watching another video the other day about cutting fabric on the ScanNCut. I won't mention whose website because I'm not sure I'm allowed to do that. Suffice it to say, it was a dealer website. 😉. She was using a product called TOTALLY AWESOME to clean all the gunk off her mat. When she was done, her mat was super sticky again. The product is available as both a concentrate and in a spray bottle. She was using the spray bottle so no dilution of the concentrate was required. Might be worth a try. I'm also going to try it on my Cricut mats.
Wish I lived near you. 😊
Great tips! Thank you so much! I feel like I under utilize my Scan N Cut.
I hope you will continue to watch and to try what you learn Kim.
Loved this video. Thank you
Thank you so very much! This was great!!!
I covered my mat with 2 way tape right from the get go. After that I wipe it down after each use with a baby wipe. Hardly ever have to use tape. I got this tip from Jen Blausy. Not my idea but it works very well
I like the fact it’s not sticky and you use painter’s tape.
I don’t like that it’s not sticky. Painter’s tape is my workaround. Thanks Rebecca.
Have a great day Kim. Thank you sharing how to save time n showing something new at least to myself.
I’m glad you are learning something new! Thanks for your comment Ginger!
Darn I missed the live. Loved you video, always learn things. I appreciate you!
Wonderful! Your explanations are so easy to follow. I have had my scan n cut only a few days and they can be pretty intimidating. You have made it so fun and easy to learn

Thanks Kim for another informative and great tutorial🙂
You are very welcome Kathy. Thanks for watching.
I got my PP yesterday and had the same reaction to the beach chair. I need more of these. I have struggled with outside inside cuts before so this was a great video for me. I can't wait to cut out some more chairs. I'll be doing it today. Thank you so much!
Thanks so much! I hope you were able to make some fun beach chairs this Summer.
Watching replay in OHIO
Would you tell me which machine you are using?
I like the way you explain the how to's. I've been dreaming for years, you make it easier to understand. TY4Sharing. 💎
I would love to make a stencil from an intricate drawing. Do you think you could do a video to cover this idea? 💖
Here's how to make a stencil from scratch. If you scan in your design and cut it using the method of cutting Mylar that I show, you will have yourself a stencil. However, the more intricate, the more challenging. I would use Vinyl for intricate designs verse Mylar but it would have to be the removable kind. th-cam.com/video/5iL-_RATVKA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-CpeO_dN8W-ncnpO
Thanks so much for all that you do for us!
Great tutorial! Thank you for sharing!
I often find myself rubbing the paper as it cuts too, and think, it’s like we are rubbing the paper cutting genie lamp for good luck
