Gotta say it's pretty awesome how you blended the multiple cameras into one shot so we can see everything, nicely done! Very professional and competent operation of the King Air too!
Nice to see someone else passionate about viewer emerssion. I know first hand how much time you have spent on this concept and I can certainly appreciate it! New sub.
Yeah, I was trying out some masking. I'll probably stick with the format of the newer video from now on. I'll definitely keep the notations going and maybe also try to talk more about what I'm doing.
I’m about a month away from having my Commercial Rating and I’ve got an opportunity to fly right in a KA250 and this video really gets me excited about the opportunity!!
Hey bro just came across your TH-cam videos pretty cool pretty cool I did e90s for a while but I'm retired now but you've got it dialed in keep up the good stuff bud happy trails
I have enjoyed ur video u did a pretty good job with displaying the info on screen mayB u can add speed and roc 2 on screen which would make it excellent !! Thanks for the video and have many more Safe Flights !! ❤❤😊😊
Also, not sure if it's your cuppa tea, but would be great if you'd narrate what you're up to on any given flight, any info about the KA, etc... (kinna like SteveO does)
The only thing I didn't like about your blended views was the overhead panel. Right wing was good, didn't eliminate anything important. Seems you only did 3 videos, I would like to see more.
Very nice video. I fly the steam gauge king air in ms flight sim. Operation is largely the same, but to the best of my knowledge, there are no fuel boost pumps to be engaged for startup. Is that correct? The sim model is based on the 350i, which never featured steam gauge avionics, but I guess you could compare it to a 300.
Hi maybe a stupid question but do you can see the nose of the plain during flight? Iam looking for a realistic fov for the king air in mfs flight sim :)
Good question. Depends on the engine/prop combo. We have the upgraded engines with factory 4 blade props, so I’ve found it best to just leave the props full forward. There’s virtually no reduction in cabin volume by pulling them back. Some people with the upgraded props by raisbeck or MT will pull them back closer to 1600 rpm and it actually makes a huge difference in cabin volume. At lower altitudes where you are torque limited, you’ll lose thrust by flying at a slower RPM, at higher altitudes it doesn’t really make a difference on your TAS. I’ll try to explain that better in a video.
@@KingAirGuyTV On my last tour in the USMC, I instructed on the T44 / C90-a 30-year-old KingAir, as you know. Yep, it makes sense for the newer models your flying. Just for your SA, part of the takeoff checks, props full forward (to be able to go into reverse), climb checks: props back to 1500-1700rpm, better economy, and a massive reduction in noise inside the cabin. Landing checks props back to full forward. Thanks again for the quick repley. Fly safe and keep the great videos coming.
I'm new to you're channel. What series of King Air are you flying.? Years ago I worked for Houston Beachcraft at Hobby Airport. Then it was just King 200's
@@KingAirGuyTV ahh ok. i thought it was something you made up for use in the plane. I use a government account for Civil Air Patrol. we already have an assigned call sign. i was just wondering about you using foreflight in the call sign.
With the electrical system in the C90B, for whatever reason, the beacon is on the generator bus. So if you want the beacon on for starting, as I usually do; the only way to illuminate it is to first close the gen ties to provide battery to them.
When you started the left engine, is that whooping sound in the audio interference from the starter/generator? Or is it an aural warning of some sort? Nice vid!
Hmm, enjoyed the flight....I think the more challenging thing isn't learning to flight, but the pilots ant ATC jargon....There are too many codes and special words to learn!!! In addition, i think it would be very helpful to not only indicate the 500 feet altitude while landing, but also the 100 feet, the 20 feet and the 10 feet.
I use a ram mount with a suction cup on the storm window. I used to used a yoke mount that was specifically designed for the king air but I really prefer having the more “heads up” option you see here. Let me know if need a link to either one.

Enjoyed all the labeling during start up. I usually watch these without sound and this was a great video.
Thank you. It’s a fine line between educating beginners and not patronizing experienced pilots lol.
Man, I enjoy your flights. I like the way you lable everything. Thanks for the ride Sir. Living the dream.

Great vid, good idea labels. Who would of thought of that, great learning tool. Thanx.
Best flight sim setup i've ever seen, so realistic
Awesome video! I am just a lowly sim pilot but I am using your video for reference. Thanks!
I’m getting ready for my type rating in this aircraft and this video was super helpful for cockpit flows.
Nice position of main camera so all can see over the dashboard. Super smooth ride. 👌
Really nice how you overlayed the camera views. Appreciate the notations on the controls too.

brill video THANK YOU handy for type rating pre prep
I love flying the king air in msfs, i like the way you added the items you were checking off!
Yay King Air content! Love it
Man, TYS has been a good airport to me. Took several checkrides and did my first paid flying trips out of there. That part of Tennessee is great.
Great job on the views, thanks.

Whoever recording the ATIS at your departure airport is definitely a SoundCloud rapper.
I wouldn't mind shaking your hand if you ever get down to PDK. Another beautiful landing on the numbers.
nice camera layout. Thanks for your video
What is that camera layout facing forward?? I’m kinda confused.

I'll give this a try on the next flight! Really appreciate all the feedback.
Not needed, IMO.
Why is the windshield view photo shopped?
Nice video.
Thanks for the ride. E90? Regards from across the Atlantic😊
Love this video, did you fly full power entire flight
Did I miss something about the fuel condition levers ???

The young J. D. Vance...
Is it ok to refuel while the engines are running?

Which Garmin is that? Looks like the 1000 but seems to have a split for each screen in the middle. Guessing it's the 500 or 600?
without flap takeoff?
Nice video. What yr and model is your King Air?
Do you ever pull the props back? If not why not? Thanks

This is a 04 C90B with the Blackhawk conversion.
first time here... just curious how you come up with call sign Foreflight 902.
If you have a performance or business account with ForeFlight you can just request a call sign. The number is decided by them.

Why do people engage the autopilot so much during the flight.
Have you ever gotten a Hung or Hot start flying in the 90's?
Never. BRB looking for some wood…
Are you based out of JWN? I do my lessons at MQY.
Sorry but the mish mash of different camera shots ruined it.
I was just experimenting. I didn’t like it either, honestly. I’ll stick to the other format in future videos.
seems kind of dumb for the FBO to be parking and eventually moving a FUEL truck right in front of a plane with its engines on
