Even with an Overhead Tennis serve they didn't really have a ton of advantage... They got most of the balls back in play. So all the people that always call illegal serve on other players that barely or bored line hitting the ball at the waist line... give it up. Don't be that guy! It's not that much of an advantage over your opponent. Great video... very entertaining.
That’s cause these guys don’t know how to hit an actual tennis serve. If a good tennis player were serving overhead in pickleball the game would suck for the opponent and that’s why the underhand serve rules are in place.
@@kabob21 This was an experiment. Even if they didn't hit the perfect overhead tennis serve it's still 10x more leverage power then an underhand serve. So if they can get most of the serve back in play then it's really no big deal to receive an "illegal" under hand serve just above the waist line that so many complaint about.
Now I’m wondering how effective a kick serve with a paddle and pickleball would be 😂 I already slice my overheads a little because I hit them like I do in tennis. I bet the counter spin would be hilariously baffling.
lol its funny watching pickleballers without a tennis background serve overhead with the frying pan grip. That grip works so well at the kitchen, but once you move back, actually tennis technique comes into play.
Picklenall is losing its dignity w these guys. Stick to the real rules n scope of pickle ball. Dont abuse the sport. Ex. Tennis w paddles, volleball w a basketball, baseball w ping pong ball etc. Amazing !
They're allowed to have fun any way that they want to. I find it entertaining, especially when Ben and Collin played left handed. Giving 5.0's advantages shows how good the pros are. I'd pay to see these games if I was in town and knew the scheduled guests.

How about the pros play with sweet spot trainers, I actually got a few games with them and it was fun and entertaining.
That would be awesome. ProXR would probably need to make a sweet spot trainer first
Thats great idea
Great stuff. How about pros play with ping pong paddles next?
4.6 dupr looking high
very fun. The ability to serve and volley brought the game much closer
Pros with wood paddles vs 5.0's with either the GB Power Pros or the Joola Gen 3's.
Overhand serve with the Gen 3 Joola would have been awesome 😮😮😮
Would be interesting to give the pros 2 more feet at baseline so 5.0’s can serve, return and lob deeper. Or even one extra foot.
He's definitely 4.5
That's what we're saying
Not even
pros with old school wood paddles vs. 5.0s with new school paddles.
Zane is so casual at the net. Great stuff.
That was entertaining! It would be fun to play with total tennis rules!
I enjoy these wacky games!
the serve and volley is such a fun twist
😂😂😂 Love the fun in this hybrid game…pickle-tennis. I did not see the pros playing with wooden paddles. Am I wrong?😮
Idk if Thomas counts as a 5.0.
He’s definitely not. Played him in a ppa tournament once. He’s not
DUPR don't lie
Overhand serve pro matches would be sick as hell
Love these videos. Really fun stuff.
I didn’t realize till the end that Thomas is the same dude from their podcast 😂
Super fun! Thanks!
How about Pros using training paddles vs 5.0s?
Games with the pickleskills sweet spot trainer would be amazing!
They had no advantage serving overhead or being able to volley the return. It was fun to watch as always.
What video did you watch? It was a huge advantage. Do you think the game would have been close if they played normal?! 😂
I want to see you guys against Jack Sock's overhand serve.
I want to see Dekel Bar do his serve and shoulder height while maximizing top spin 🚀
"he thinks he's Jack Munro" 😂
more crazy videos please !
Damn funny stuff!!! How about playing with a patch over one eye. Could be very interesting.
So this last game was called butts up, in the tennis world. And we would serve from the “kitchen/serves line. Got to make it sting boys.
These guys were really entertaining! if only they locked in sooner might've had a shot
Idea for next episode! Pros use wooden/cheep paddles and the 5.0s get good paddles
Dekel Bar is such a beast

Should do Pros v. 5.0s where pros have to play with $10 Walmart paddles
They're sponsored by ProXR paddles, doubt that will happen lol
How much for a lesson
lets get the pros with some raggedy walmart paddles lmao
Have pro xr make an illegal paddles with a ton of spin and see if it breaks the game.
Nice!
Thomas ain’t a 5.0 he couldn’t even beat me and pops
5.0+ skills, 2.5+ ability to keep score
How about 5.0s can let the ball bounce twice before hitting or fault.
Pros vs 5.0s Backhand only
So hilarious!
Thomas isn’t a 5.0……
rematch !
No chance for the 5.0s to come back.
When you changed up the rules, WHY didn’t Thomas and his partner start with a guy at the net? This was painful to watch overall.
uhmmmm Thomas is more like a 4.0
quite often looking like 3.75 to me
lol its funny watching pickleballers without a tennis background serve overhead with the frying pan grip. That grip works so well at the kitchen, but once you move back, actually tennis technique comes into play.
Lol, great Vid!
Lol let's see this with some great overhead servers tho
One did not look like a 5.0 looked barely 4.0 to me.
So no underserved it’s like tennis serve
Why on earth aren’t the 5.0s starting with the player not serving already at the kitchen 🤯
They don’t seem to be tennis players so their natural instinct is to stay back on serve. They did finally figure it out at 13:07 😂
No way Thomas is a 4.5. 3.5 at best!!
@6:38 they didn’t get a point
Thomas is 3.5 at best. He needs that shirt
Abu ghraib ending
You guys look like 3.5 lol
Weakest opponents you've had by far
cancel no volley zone, much more fun they said.
Black shirt is uhhhh....not good. White shirt actually plays like a 5.0 but I doubt he has tennis experience, those overhead serves were weeeeaaaak
You guys need a radar gun
The pros had the advantage of BEING THE RETURNING TEAM every single point! Overhead be damned, these guys were screwed from the get!
Pickleball rules do not allow overhead serves.
Guy with the white cap sucked

What a joke of a comment
I quote Chris from pickleball studio.. Thomas is '3.5 at best' 😂
@rickygalban9599 Take a Chill Pill. Why so serious? Do some Yoga or something. They're just having fun. It's good entertainment.
Then stick to watching PPA or MLP. Plenty of that content out there! ✌🏻
