Blackpool delivers the goods once again what a brilliant event. I asked my kids if they fancied a holiday abroad next year but they said we want to go to blackpool again dad it's the best place ever. I can't argue with that.
We're up in Blackpool for the weekend so hopefully we'll get to see the Lightpool , we may get some footage and a walk by at the Tablouxs , thanks for another great video Stephen

Steve, great video, thank you. Lightpool on and near the Comedy Carpet is fantastic but I didn't realize the thingies next to Harry Ramsden's were there too buisy looking the other way. Haven't been around St John's Square yet. Going tonight. Am a bit disappointed because last years Lightpool at St John's Square was better. Must look for the chicken made out of cars which was near Sainbury's last year. And the cube thing that's near Sainbury's this year. Have you seen the fireflies at the Cenotaph? They're fantastic. Jubilee Gardens at Gynn Square is also lovely. Thanks to you, I was able to show my friend the planets behind the Solaris Centre today, which she loved. That lovely garden is well off the beaten track for tourists. My friend and her husband were visiting from Heartsfordshire. She loves your Starman Calendar. Xxx
Finally got to see this one been waiting a few days to watch it. Thanks for filming this was hoping to get over for this but didn't get the chance hopefully I'll get to come over for it next year. I will be over in the summer. Last time I saw the Sooty Show & The Moon People on the tower building 👍
18:00 Boots used to be where the Town Hall annex now is. Timothy Whites (merged with Boots) was on the corner of Clifton Street and Abingdon Street. Idea (sorry) Xmas lights in private gardens - some are bigger and better than Lightpool.

Very disappointed this year on the light festival ..was there this weekend especially for the event but was told by the tourist information that the light band and carnival were not coming this year. Such a shame .
What an amazing place where the restaurants are. I mean no offence but having seen most if ur videos Blackpool looks like a 3rd world country so this was a shock. I hope for rate payers in Blackpool the council continues to rebuild it instead of wasting cash on things that do not help Blackpool or its rate payers like most councils do.
